It ended up being a quick fix for my acne. *by D***Y on 3 December 2019* I am giving the same review I gave for Calla hyaluronic acid serum because I use them both.I had oily skin, severe ache problem, scars from healed pimples and also milia. I have tried many therapies from charcoal facewash, salysilic acid face masks, benzoyl peroxide soaps, antibiotic gels and tablets etc. I had no improvement whatsover. Some of these, specifically benzoyl peroxide soap made the problem worse. (it could have very well been the brand that I have used and not the active ingredient itself). Everytime I was in front of a mirror my confidence would hit rock bottom.I am a doctor. I wasn't ready to give up easily. My dermatologist friend asked me to try a derma roller and told be about some of his patient's success stories. I was skeptical at first. He also told me it'd take a long time for it to produce any significant results. I decided to give it a try.I bought a good branded 0.5 mm derma roller that professional dermatologists use, and he taught me how to use it correctly. He also told me to use a good serum. The serum he recommended was too expensive. So I decided to take a risk, and I bought Calla hyaluronic acid serum and but when I scrolled down, I saw this moisturiser mentioned in "people who bought the serum, also bought.." section. One thing I had always neglected my entire life was moisturising my facial skin. The ones I had used before (nivea, ponds etc) were too oily for my already oily skin and weren't any beneficial.So here's the regimen I follow since past 2 months. Every day for the daytime I use this moisturiser. Then Friday nights, I do a salysilic acid face wash and apply the serum and go to sleep. Saturday night, I do the derma roller therapy and apply the serum and Sunday night I use a mild soap and apply the serum. In short This moisturiseroisturiser - every day for daytime.Derma roller - once a week.Serum - 3 nights/week.That's it. Nothing else. It's a miracle. No new acne on my face in 2 months. The scars are healing. The indented scars are filling up. My skin is glowing. The old deep scars, though not completly gone, are reducing and I can see a difference. No milia since a 6 weeks. Aging wrinkles especially the smile stretch are filling up. The skin is getting smoother and smoothed every day, something that I've never dreamt of I would to see.I am a lot more confident than before. My friends have noticed it too. My dermatologist friend who recommended me to try the derma roller, is now jokingly demanding his consultation fees. He considers this as one of his success stories.I am amazed. My recommendation is that people stop going for aggressive and harsh quick fixes and use these good products even though it might take time.
