Can get a bit tangled sometimes because it’s super long and not very thick. You’ll see what I mean. But it’s really comfortable on you because it’s so lightweight. It’s plenty strong. The ankle piece feels nice and soft and also secure. The Velcro looks like it will hold up for quite some time

I paddle in a coastal lagoon which occasionally has strong current from tides where the opening narrows . So if I fell in this current or in a heavy wind without a leash my board could be 20 yards away in seconds. I wanted the coil design since my other SUP leashes would drag in the water. This leash is lightweight , inexpensive and stays out of the way on the board. It does not overlap into the water which creates drag and can snag sea weed. For my purposes it is perfect , BUT if you are going to catch waves in the ocean on your SUP this leash is going be too short and probably not strong enough to last very long .

This leash seems to be the same quality as the ones I’ve been buying at my local surf shop, same swivels, quality sewing and construction. It’s had some major tugs foiling in heavy surf and hasn’t snapped or stretched. The coils keep it up out of the water and away from the foil drive prop.

Don't use this in the ocean or rapidly moving water. It's good for calm lakes or ponds, but if your life depends on not losing your board, get something with a thicker cord.

PERFECT. Thats what I need for my SUP. Fitting and length of cord is perfect. The color is match my SUP. It didnt off or fall apart. It stays on! Best purchase.

Initially, I tought to buy this as an inexpensive temporary solution. But over the months since I have been using it, I came to the realization that this is all that I need. I don't surf the Northshore pipeline or cross the Alenuihaha channel on a daily basis. But I do capsize in rough waters, and I don't want to lose my canoe while I am swimming to catch my paddle. No extreme forces are involved, but I do need to keep connected to my craft. This light-weight and easily expandable leash does the job. I recommend to make one easy modification. To attach a small aluminum carabiner to the end that connects to the boat. To make disconnecting and reattaching that end easy and fast. E.g. after a huli recovery with an outrigger canoe, you necessarily end up with your leash looped around the bottom of your craft. You disconnect, pull the leash over and reattach it.

The quality is nice and secure, the strap is comfortable. I would recommend.

J'ai été très surprise de voir la qualité de cette laisse pour planche à pagaie. Trés bien fabriqué, beau et de qualité professionnelle. Et surtout très abordable, j'en ai vu des plus délicat et moins bien fabriqué pour le double du prix dans un magasin de sports.

Better value than name brand ones and less bulky, used it lots and no issues
