Pretty Amazing! This little light is lightweight and a seriously great product. I literally could not believe how bright the light is! Anyone I have showed the light too has also been amazed at how bright it is. Basically its the brightest light I own now over any flashlight I have ever purchased. This product is a seriously great purchase that you can not go wrong on! If you need a tactical light for a pistol you will find this one to be awesome especially for the money...an absolutely amazing deal and I could not be happier with this product. The switch works great and the strobe function is excellent - Once on, twice strobe, third time off. I slid this lighht my SIG 320 compact and it fits perfectly and tight - also super easy on and off in one second so I can leave the light at home when I carry this firearm in my rotation. It adds minimal weight and makes for a must have for ANY bedside firearm with PIC rail. I have not shot the gun with the light on but for the price and its use as a bedside need how can anyone go wrong. If I even need it I know 100% it will light up anything bigtime to see any area in my home and/or expose an intruder (as well as probably blind them - seriously) and if I do need to fire the gun in this type of an emergency once the subject is lit I know I can land my shots even if the light goes out after that but I suspect the light will hold up for many multiple shots based on the experienced quality of the bulb and perceived quality of manufacturing. Very glad I bought this instead of purchasing one of the more popular major brands at MANY times the cost! Could not be happier.

Boy, was kind of uncertain to buy at only 35.00 but I was proved wrong! This little light is amazing! Mounting to my M&P .45 as well as my SD9VE is a breeze; fit is very good. On my Glock 19, the fit is even better. Slide's on and fits like OJ's glove! The light output is rated at 500 lumens, and let me also say if its not 500 it's pretty damn close! Light is extremely irritating to the eye's at ranges under 15' and with the strobe on, it seems like it may disorientate. The beam is clear, it is not super tight, but it also doesn't light up the whole room either, it will Illuminate your target nicely. I tested mine in total darkness and at 35 feet its amazing, (room prevented testing beyond that). The on /off and strobe is extremely easy to get to and use as well. Don't know the battery life when left on for a long period, but who will need and leave their gun light on for 20, 30 minutes or more anyway? If your faced with a situation where you need a gun light on for that long, you may be in trouble either way. A very good purchase at a very good price. Going to buy another.

This light appears to be well made. Aircraft aluminum I think. Looks great. Very compact and easy battery install while in position on gun. Light is very bright and strobe is excellent. Can't measure if its 500 lumens but I assure you it's VERY bright. Lights up any size dark room. Beam is not tightly focused but does the job for more confined areas. Perfect for home defense gun. Would have given it five stars BUT it will not lock onto the rail on my Glock 19. It does lock on to M & P. When it does lock on, it has a little movement. Not enough to negatively effect it's use but I'd like to see firmer lock up. Can't talk about battery life or durability yet but my initial reaction is that I will trust it to put on my home defense pistol. For the $30.00 price I think it's a great budget minded product.

To begin: this is a BUDGET light. You'd think this would be obvious, but then look below at some folks' expectations. Here's what I can tell you: (1) it's inexpensive; (2) it's quite bright (very bright indoors, and functional to at least 50 yards outdoors); (3) it fastens very easily and snugly to a standard picatinny rail; (4) I fired 100 rounds with it attached to an FNS 9C, and the mount did not loosen at all, and the light still worked just fine. The on/off switch is a little goofy: it's a slider (like a cross-bolt safety) -- the first time you switch to "on" is the solid beam; turn it off and on again and you get the strobe. Next time will be the solid beam. And so on. For home defense, I just make sure that the last "on" was the strobe, so that I know the next switch will be a solid beam. One other point: if attached to a pistol and then placed in a tight case, you may trigger the switch, and your battery will die. I haven't experienced this issue with the pistol/light laying in a gun safe. Still, I'd keep a few extra CR2s on hand. Summary: if you're going to war, you probably want to look elsewhere. Otherwise, this is a perfectly functional light with a very stable mount at a very good price.

You can't beat this quality for the price. It's very bright and fits snuggly on my home defense handgun. I would recommend this light to anyone who wants the extra vision on their home defense weapon, without shelling out too much money. I can't imagine the $100+ lights being any better than this. Update 4/14 (3 days outside return window) After installing the light onto my Sig it stayed in my drawer as mg home defense, but this weekend I decided to take it to the gun range for some target practice. From what I read on these reviews I was worried this light wouldn’t make it through 100 rounds at the range, so I took the light off beforehand. I went to reinstall the light after I returned and the screws would not tighten and kept popping off and falling to the ground (along with the rail connects to). This light was only connected to my gun ONE time before this happened, and the screws are stripped AND the screw holes look to have weak thread. I read through reviews beforehand and was very careful not to overtighten or overuse. I don’t see how I can overcome this without spending my own time and money to find replacement screws that will work with the stripped thread on the light itself. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This is likely a product/quality flaw, but you get what you pay for. Side note, the light itself is GREAT! I couldn’t have asked for a better or brighter light.

I am intending to use this flashlight for classes on low light/no light defensive shooting ONLY. That being said, let's talk about the good, the bad and the ugly about this little guy. The Good- 1. It is inexpensive. 2. It is easy to install. Be careful NOT to overtight the Allen screws. Go slow and gentle. It comes with an Allen wrench 3. It is easy to remove. It has a lever-type in the front that allows you to remove the flashlight fast, very fast. 4. It is 500 lumens, which is a decent amount of light for most tactical/self-defense applications. 5. It is lightweight and unobstructed. 6. It comes with a battery THE BAD 1. It does NOT have ambidextrous controls. If you are a leftie (I am a leftie) you have to turn on the light with the thumb of your support hand. No the best thing to do under stress. 2. It does not have momentarily on and off switch. it has only on and off (strobe is really not that important, even though this last statement is subjective) 3. The finish is not the same quality as of the big brands, Streamlight, Surefire, but for 30 bucks it is darn good. I would dare to say this flashlight is disposable in the sense that once the battery is empty or if you damage the light, you better get a new one. In my opinion, if you want a mounted light weapon to learn or teach how to properly use it in low light/no light conditions, this is an excellent alternative. I read several reviews pointing that if you laid the firearm with the weight of the firearm on top of on switch, the light turns on. I tried and I found that if you lay the gun very gentle and slowly this does not happen. I know, I know, we are gun guys and this kind of gentle treatment of a tool is not practical, but for 30 bucks what do you expect? If you want something heavy duty, extremely durable, high quality, and worry-free, well, spend the big bucks and buy a light in the high-end spectrum. This mounted light weapon is NOT for serious applications. This flashlight should be used for training/practice in low or no light tactical situations or as a backup, last resort flashlight.

I purchased this light to use on a Ruger SR40c as an HD gun. I wanted a light that was adequately bright, that I could quickly and easily attach and detach, and that fit the gun really well. This one scores on all three. The light itself appears to be quality construction and materials. Nothing fragile or cheap appearing about it. The controls make perfect sense to me (if you're right handed). Press the right side of the switch with your trigger finger to turn on, rotate your left thumb forward slightly to press the left side of the switch to turn off. Press the right side again quickly to activate strobe mode. You can easily go from off to strobe in less than 1/4 of a second. There's no way it puts out 400 lumens, but for typical threat identification and assessment it is bright enough in my opinion. The fit is absolutely perfect for the SR9c/SR40c. The quick release works smoothly and snaps the light onto the rail quite securely. I took it to the range and shot about 75 rounds with it attached with no concerns or malfunctions. Definitely a two thumbs up purchase.

I ordered this model for my Taurus PT111 Millenium G2. My first impression upon opening the box was very positive based on the feel of the light. It's very solid and feels like it could take quite a beating. It fit on myt pistol with about 1/4 inch of space left. There is a small amount of play after attached to the pistol if I try to move it around, but very minimal and nothing that has caused any problems whatsoever. Definitely no bouncing around at all. I absolutely LOVE the quick detach system. I attach it to my pistol at night before bed then remove in the morning as my CC holster doesn't accommodate a light attachment. Great spring tension and a nice tight fit on the rail means I'm not concerned at all about the light falling off. The on/off switch is, IMO, in the perfect location for natural use. Not hard to flip on, but not so easy that you can activate the light unintentionally (although I can see this possibly happening in a holster). The light is nice and bright. I considered adding a laser, but after trying out the light in a dark room I realized that it's so bright I can see my sight posts very well. I give this five stars for durability, solid attachment, bright light, and ease of use. Great product!
