Small birds feeder
Love this bird feeder. Only want to feed small birds. The hanging varieties leave seeds on ground. Pigeons are attracted by seed droppings. This bird feeder only let's small birds in. Just what I needed.

Hopeful that it will work!
The cage has been in the garden for 2 days but, up to now, the birds won't go near it. This is quite normal, they'll get used to it!

Simple to assemble
Pros: keeps the bigger birds away, and allows the smaller ones to feed, how some people thinks the bars are too wide, baffles me, its very simple to set up. Cons: Dilivered by DX, the box was damaged, was asked to examine on the doorstep, wasn't bent, but didn't see damaged paint until fully unpacked.

Keeps the big birds out
We used to get lots of pigeons in our garden for the food but now we only see the odd one. I would definitely recommend this product if you have larger birds eating all the food, It’s sturdy and comes fully assembled it’s easy to fill and worth the money.

Rooks will find a way
I've given the product itself 3 stars as it's a good item and the principle is great. Unfortunately it was no good for me. We're plagued with rooks, and I wouldn't mind feeding them if they weren't so greedy. They're clever and find ways to empty a feeder in half an hour. With the hanging ones we used an upturned hanging basket with chains hanging down and that seems to have finally flummoxed them. I thought this would be good for the ground feeding birds and at least give them a chance to eat something. I underestimated the rooks - they've managed to somehow lift out the tray so that the seed is easier for them to get to. The last time I used it the tray I found it empty within half an hour a few inches outside the cage! I admit defeat. The rooks have won.

Well made
Very well made and extremely sturdy. Bars are far enough apart that Blackbirds can get in and 'hopefully' keep out pigeons.

Excellent for little birds
Absolutely brilliant stops all pigeons and magpies fantastic for little birds , the feeder comes already made up so it can be used straight out of the box , the only thing I wish the manufacturer would do and that's to put a ring on the top of the lid so you can lift it easier. Yes it's great and I'd definitely recommend this product.
