FisherSpace Pen Co. 9004525 with Ink Fine Pt. Universal Cartridge, Red

Was looking for dependable refills for my Zebra Sharbo X and Skilcraft B6 that also wouldn't leak under demanding circumstances. Highly recommend.

I bought two black and one red for my old Chromatic two color pen over a year ago. Both fit and worked fine at full legnth. I had hoped the break-off would fit a smaller lightweight pen but it would still have been too long. Because the Fisher refills are pressurized you can only break them off at the designated points. I also assume the extended portions must be empty and you actually get a smaller refill even if you use the full length.I seldom need to write upside down and have never had occasion to write underwater, but the Fisher Space Pen refills have always worked well in normal use. They don't seem to clog if left unused and write smoothly. Both fine points are reasonably dark and not overly fine.

These refills have "dents" to snap off at the right length, hence "universal refill". I snap one off to the shortest length and carry it in my wallet. It is short and skinny, so writing with it is hard, but it is very handy to always have a pen, and Fisher makes a reliable and high-quality line. In theory, an advantage of the Fisher is it does not leak -- in practice, the refill is designed to go inside a pen and not really designed for bare use -- I have used about 5 of these (they do not hold much ink) and one leaked some ink, but I also sit on my wallet and give it other "abuse", so I can't really blame Fisher, all the rest have been fine.

I have a Belkin 4 in 1 pen. It has LED, Laser pointer, stylus (old style), and pen. Because my devices no longer use the pressure sensitive touch screens I removed the stylus and put in a red and a black Space Pen Refill. Space pen is excellent for writing virtually anywhere in any position. I have used one since they first went to market. I have enough refills to last a decade.

I received my order quickly but they appear to be for the ORIGINAL space pen--which is fine since I have those as well. Yes, shipping cost was high. When ordering refills, read carefully to ensure you choose the right one(s).
