Edge 30201 EZ Programmer

new to diesel's, but once i found the connectors it was a 5 minute install. 3 position toggle switch small and easy to hide. ran a tank of fuel on each position. position one seemed to basically be stock and bypass the performance middle slightly notable difference, but what's the point. the 3rd position i actually gain at least 2 mpg and occasionally cherp tires when taking off in 3rd and leaves a slight cloud but nothing impressive, would be a lot happier if it was a little cheaper but was still worth it especially now at 6$ a gallon

The Edge brought my 2001 Ram 2500 back to what it should have been new. Should help out towing my travel trailer up grades and hopes of better fuel mileage, we'll see.

I own a 2001 dodge 3500 5.9 Cummins Diesel. Number 1, upgrade your lift pump. Purchased the Edge Programmer 301 and it was a simple 10 minute install. It has 3 variable settings. Middle setting gives around 40 additional horsepower. A very noticeable difference and woke-up the Cummins Diesel. Upgrading my lift pump before utilizing the highest setting. Should perform better than expected. Great modification for the price point. You wont regret. No check engine light or issues. Idles great and runs!

Pros:1) I get 15% better MPG.2) Solid power increase with level 3.3) Excellent bang for buck.Cons:1) If you like complex installs, look elsewhere.2) If you don't want the ability to revert back to stock in seconds, this isn't for you.3) If you want the tediousness of having to flash your ECU, there's better stuff out there.Before you buy this, you must install gages. Even a stock truck should have gages, but certainly if you're doing any modification, get a good set. After that, this is a solid product that will enhance your truck in whatever way you want. I do a lot of long hauls, so MPG is important. I have seen a 15% increase in MPG. If romping around like you stole the truck is important, you will lose MPG, but will no doubt have more fun (unless you don't have gages). Bottom line: This product has the biggest bang for the buck of anything I know of on the market for tuning. It gave me a whole new truck.

Wakes up an old Cummins 5.9, really impressed with the power improvement. Climes most hill in overdrive now and thats on the low setting.
