Best choice for lamp outside door.
The last one we had lasted for YEARS - often on 24/7. It is a pleasant yellow - not a garish orange. It is bright enough for safety and most importantly—keeps the bugs at bay!

Absolutely life changing. These blue lightbulbs didn’t just light up my room. They lit up my soul.
I screwed one in and suddenly felt like I was living inside a futuristic underwater rave hosted by dolphins with excellent taste in lighting. My cat stared at the bulb for ten solid minutes then took a nap in its gentle glow. She has never looked more enlightened. Do they help with productivity? I do not know. I forgot what I was doing because I was too busy admiring the cool sci-fi vibe. I now write all my emails as if I am on a spaceship giving important mission updates. These bulbs are bright. Not dentist-office bright. More like "I can now finally see what’s under the couch and wow that’s where my dignity went" bright. In conclusion, ten out of ten. Would absolutely recommend. Would also name my firstborn Blue Lightbulb Junior.

Color not as red as hoped…
The bulbs are a true red until lit and then looks orangey. Was hoping for a true red color to go with my green bulbs for Christmas.

This is THE BEST bug light.
This is THE one that works! The old round shaped incandescent yellow light bulbs do NOT keep bugs away like this one does. It's so worth the price. It produces enough light to flood my large front porch with soft light, yet bugs do not like it. No kidding, it doesn't draw insects of any kind.

I keep ordering these color bulb’s because I use them all year round.Especially the spiral ones 13w (60 watt) They arrive in a goog condition.

After trying a standard flood light I found we cannot use this with a recessed cover. These blubs fit perfectly under the cover and give a perfect spectrum of light using infrared instead of standard white bulbs. We had these within a day of ordering
