I have used them a few times now and I think at first they did line up properly. Even so, they still work really well for creating spheres, so I do still recommend this product. I bought them for making the same size cake pops quickly and easily. They work nicely for that. I have now given them to my son to use with his playdough for a fun fine motor activity. He calls them his "playdough scissors". I haven't let him use scissors yet, but I feel like these will work his hand muscles the same way scissors do and it will make teaching him how to use scissors easier when I feel like he is ready to use them. We may even use these to make snowballs as a fun outdoor activity this year. I feel like these can be a great tool for various things!
