I open or close them several times throughout the day & never even a glitch. You need to follow the instructions carefully and they do take a little time to set up. I missed something somewhere & have the buttons on the (very responsive) remote controls the wrong way around (ie open instead of close) but it makes no difference to the smooth operation. After 3 years of use, I decided to go back to the instructions to reverse the settings to the correct behaviour, & this is what prompted me to write this review now. Email them and they will send you some. You only pay shipping. I got 20 brackets for about £20 shipping. Came really quickly. These are nice tracks. Had to cut mine down with a hacksaw as they come a 3 x 1m lengths. The leaflet that was in the packaging that had a lot of EU languages bar English had a website on which once I found the language pulldown gave me access to some excellent instructions in English. One oddity once i got it together was the open button closed the curtains and the close button open opened them!?!?
