My soon-to-be ten-year-old loves these shoes.  Which is great, since I told her that for the price, she's wearing them until her toes pop out.I originally purchased a size 3 in a different design, which were a reasonable price.  Well, it turns out DC's run a bit small.  We had to return them.  By then, of course, the reasonably priced design was sold out.  With her heart now set on a pair of DC's, I went ahead and ordered these in a size 3 and a half, even though they cost more than any pair of shoes I have ever bought for myself.They fit, and she's happy, but the charms fell off within a week of her wearing them daily, and now that she has had them a month, the sparkles on the toes are scuffed.From now on, she either gets the $15 pair from Target, or she pays for her own shoes.

Let me begin by saying that I really like the look and feel of these shoes. My daughter fell for them the second she saw them and put them on. But, the pair that we got degraded quickly. A majority of the sparkles were gone within a week and the stitching was already starting to fray.BUT, I contacted DC Shoes warranty department and they were happy to replace them after seeing pictures. I'm sure I just got a bad pair.So, back to the good - the shoes fit her feet nicely. They are skate style shoes and offer a lot of support. She can wear them day after day and not feel any discomfort. Plus, I think they make her feel like a princess with the sparkles.

These are the perfect little shoes, and they look exactly as the picture. I looked at my daughter's shoe sizes in her closet and bought the same size, when they came in, they were too small. I sent them back (bought a 11.5, and ended up needing a 12.5) and ordered another pair. My daughter loves them, I just wish the shoelaces were a little longer (they're hard to double knot, something that needs to be done since she's only 5 and doesn't know how to tie her own shoelaces for school).If you buy these, I suggest you buy one size bigger than you were planning to. Love them!
