1 World Sarongs Sarong for Women Solid Fringeless(TM) Sarong Swimsuit Cover up Sarong Wrap

I absolutely love this sarong-I purchased it to use as a stylist cover up with my swimsuit, and was convinced by the reviews that this would be the perfect cover-up. I am 5' 7", and when tied around my waist (which is pretty high) it still sat perfectly where I wanted it to. I tried out a few of the different "styles" that came on the card, but I was really just wanting something to tie around my waist so I wasn't walking around the pool area with just a towel. The material is nice, not so stiff that you can't move in it, but soft enough to feel like you are wrapping a super soft robe around yourself. This is one of my favorite purchases from amazon, and I love that you can adjust it to different styles if you want to. Would definitely purchase again.This did come a bit wrinkled up, but a few minutes in the dryer "ironed" it out just fine. Shipping was quick, only 2 days (with amazon prime). Have absolutely zero complaints, and so glad I purchased this. It ties up where you want it to, and stays there until you are ready to take it off. So glad I got this :)

I bought this sarong for a vacation at the beach. I couldn't decide whether to get this or a plus size sarong. I am 5'10", size 18, 230 lbs, and my hips are the widest part of my body. I am glad I got this one, as I think the plus size would have been too big.This one is long enough to wrap around and still have plenty of fabric to put through a coconut sarong tie so that it drapes nicely. If you have to "hand tie" the ends, it may make for a bulky fit and won't stay tied very long, so I highly recommend a sarong tie. I wore this around my waist and it fell all the way to my ankles. If worn around my chest it hits just above my knees. There was also just enough length to run the ends through the sarong tie and then tie the ends around my neck, which was nice if I wanted a more "pulled together" look travelling to and from the beach. Also makes a good, light-weight cover for your head, shoulders and neck when you have had too much sun. Dries quickly. I have washed it on the gentle cycle in cold water and line dried (sometimes putting in dryer if not quite done) half a dozen times and it has kept its color and shape. I liked it so much I bought another one in black to match a different suit.

I love sarongs. Instead of dealing with heavy, slow-drying beach towels, I travel with several sarongs. I use them as a blanket on planes, shower cover-up, beach blanket (sand shakes right off instead of getting stuck in terry cloth), bathing suit cover-up, and I use them to dry off after a swim. I just cannot say enough about the usefulness of this item. I was a little disappointed that the one I recently received is more of a blue-green instead of the beautiful mint green pictured. However, it is the usual great quality and I will keep it. I also purchased a "grab bag" sarong and was delighted with the color selected for me...a very soft, subtle latte brown with fringe and pale hibiscus flowers--simply gorgeous. I have ordered from this company in the past and have always been pleased. I would have given five stars if only that soft mint green had been in the package! Sigh.

I am a medium to large sized woman. 5'7, 146 lbs. 34D bra, 31"waist, 42" at the widest on my hips. Why is this important? Well, on the narrow side, it's a bit too short to tie around much more than my arm pits and the smallest part of my waist. Check your measurements and do a little research instead of assuming that these guys are one size fits all. It works however, if the side slit isn't something you're always going to want in your long dress/skirt configurations, you're going to want one a little larger than these. Lime green is a bit darker than the electric I had hoped for.

Very happy with my purchase. The sarong is as advertised. Basically one rectangular piece of black thin (though not see through)fabric. It is nice and roomy, God coverage for all shapes and sizes up to 2x. Material is NOT super soft but it feels good on after a day of swimming in Tahiti. The material makes it easy to stay tied. Good for around the beach/pool or in your room after a shower. Looks nice enough on to wear to a casual dinner. Can be worn in a couple of styles. BUT I have not washed it as I'm still on vacation. I'll update only if hand washing shrinks/ruins it. Will know in a few weeks.

So, I've had it for a month. I bought it to wear as a scarf and I have throughly fallen in love with wearing it every day. It's soft and comfortable, not as warm as a wool scarf, not as cool as a decorative scarf. I got it in black, it seems pretty durable, after a month of continuous wear, it looks pretty much the same as it did when I got it (slightly wrinkled, but that's my fault) I haven't had any color wear off on other things (including my white coat) however I have handwashed it once and the water did get colored an orangey-amber color.I have also worn it several different ways, drapey like a cape, just over my arms, traditional scarf, coverup for vacation, and a blanket for the airplane. I definately recommend it.

I have been looking for a light weigh gauze-like blanket for my 6-year-od son who wants to pull a blanket up over his head in bed, even in the hot weater. I haven't been able to find a sheet like that, but a friend recommended using a sarong. So I ordered this one and it's been fine so far! It's long enough for his body, although no as wide as we'd like, but hey, it's not designed to be used as a sheet, so I can't complain! It's annoying that it says hand-wash only, but I'm going to try it on the gentle/handwash cycle on the machine and hopefully it will be ok.

This is the second sarong I ordered from 1 World Sarong. This sarong is quite a bit smaller. The first sarong was not large enough for most of the designs in their book, but still big enough to wear in at least 2 configurations.This sarong is at least 1 foot shorter, and is barely big enough for one configuration. I am very disappointed in this sarong.If this purchase was for something other than the previous sarong, there were no notes highlighting the difference.Please, try to highlight differences and also think about creating bigger sarongs for larger women. Thank you.
