The hidden issue in Darfur
When I first picked up this book, I had no clear idea of what images were to be constructed in my head. This book dives into the issue of the U.N, U.S and European nations that stood back, waiting to take action on the situation, while thousands of lives were lost.It also discusses the faults that occurred when the security council went into to get their on-the-ground investigation. They're very flawed investigation.Although very hard driven on statistical factors of the issue, this book has an incredible way of painting the awful images in your head. There were many times where I had to set the book down and wait before going on, because it was truly unbearable to imagine that such atrocities occurred to children, women and men.
