COVERGIRL Melting Pout 24HR Matte Liquid Lipstick, Red Wedding

This lipstick is amazing. Lasts for hours, doesn't change colors, and pairs well with a neutral gold natural color. I receive make compliments when wearing this, which is everyday. But, it's discontinued. I've searched high and low for an equal to no avail.

The picture on the left is the product I received and the picture on the right is to affirm that I know how to apply lipstick (not always perfectly but certainly good enough lol) so this is not user error.The tube was sealed but it's so dried out that there's nothing left in it. It went on so cakey. It would have been such a beautiful color. I was so excited but that's how it goes sometimes. I'm returning for a refund.Refund process is through usps and you have to print your own label. 😒🙄😮‍💨

I’ve been using this color for a while now and it’s great on with my yellow undertones. I mostly apply to my top lip for an ombré look.My most recent purchase however, had some white stuff on the bottom. I’m not sure what it is but my lips so far have been fine, no adverse reaction.

I really love this lip in coral chronicles. I have probably purchased this same shade dozens of times in the last 5 years and is my go to every day shade. I am a warm/yellow medium tone, yellow in winter and more olive in the summer. This shade matches my natural lip color with a little more pink where the orange undertones compliment my warm tones without it being too barbie pink. This works as a wonderful nude color for me and can be slightly altered with different lipliners depending on the deepness of my tan throughout the year. I hope this never gets discontinued because it's my favorite lip of all time. I don't see it in store anymore so have dedicated myself to purchasing online.While this can be opaque, I actually prefer the soft blurred color this gives instead of a full pigment lip, while still providing medium coverage. Soft, long wearing and easy to reapply. I love adding some lip balm and this over top for a quick wash of color when I don't have a lip liner. I have bought other shades of this lip color that don't look great on me and the darker shades aren't great since color is more of a blurred effect. Have looked high and low for a dupe of this color alone and have been unsuccessful. Really hope they make this forever.I added pictures where you can see the shade in different lighting and my varying skin tones throughout the year.

I’ve been buying this liquid lipstick for a few years now and i absolutely love it! It last a long time i can drink and eat with it and maybe have to reapply once or twice a day. A little goes a long way and this lipstick usually last me 3-5 months for someone who uses it everyday. Lips may get dry so i suggest moisturizing them before you put it on.

After purchasing my favorite COVERGIRL Melting Pout Matte Liquid Lipstick, in SECRET, multiple times, I thought I would give BACK TALK a chance. I had hoped it would've applied evenly like SECRET, but unfortunately, it fell short. I had to keep applying and applying to make it look somewhat even, but you could see it getting patchy and see the swipe/brush strokes of the lip applicator. Color is nice, but the composition of the liquid lipstick in combination with the application could use work. I kept it in hopes of using it with other lipsticks to salvage this purchase.
