Airhead Mach 1, 1 Rider Towable Tube for Boating, Red

This a super-great tube for a laid-back ride. We love this tube for smaller kids or adults who want to just sit there and ride inside the wake. Very smooth ride, planes perfectly. We also have the larger version of this tube for multiple riders. Great product, well-made and definitely worth the cost. Very high-quality valve system too. Other towables we have don't. We got it just before a long weekend and just left it inflated the whole time. Also, makes a great floating seat for tying up to the boat and hanging out while anchored in a cove.

We have towed this probably 10 miles without any issues. Seems well made, give a single adult a good ride. Pretty stable but rider will have to learn weight shifting when whipping across a wake.

I really love the airhead tubes their shape and structure makes them tougher fast hard rides and sharp turns and it helps Keep the tube level without tipping. My only drawback is I’ve owned the tube three years and splits at the seams regularly. I have to it consistently. I also have a double tube with the same issues and starts breaking at the seems in 2 years.

Very durable used it a lotOnly issue I’ve found is the main nipple you use to inflate it is behind a Velcro cover and it always ends up too far to the left after inflated I have to keep pulling it to left while inflatingAlso on floor nipple to inflate after pushing it In while using its a real bugger to pull back out to deflate and I’ve broken the retainer strap that holds cap on so it would be easy to loose I need floor tube replacedAgain it is very durable and bladders are of excellent heavy materialThanks

Needed to replace a 15-year old flat round tube. When I opened the box I was a little leery of the exposed vinyl tube. But, after two days of the kids jumping in and out, while tethered, it still holds air. It is stable while towing and will catch some good air, but with an aggressive driver and rider they will fall out. When it so happens, and the tube lands upside down, it catches the water at the headrest, filling the entire shell. It brought my 230 hp pontoon to a halt, leaving the rider 50-yards out in the water alone. I found myself quickly reversing to put slack in the tow rope, to circle back, flip the tube, so I could retrieve the rider. This creates a dangerous situation. Fortunately we discovered this on a weekday with light traffic. No more wave busting with this tube, just easy riding. Zero stars for safety, down to two for construction, because of the exposed vinyl. Don't know why I went cheap, should have sent it back immediately. Was only looking for a single sit inside rider, because I have seen too many bumps and bruises on multiple person tows.

This replaced another brand of three person tube. So far it is proving to be a much more worthy and durable product. Kids love it, quality seems like it is going to last.

Inflated this with the same pump for my boat. Construction appears to be top quality and well stitched. PVC is thick. Will see if it holds air overnight and update review. Size seems good for an adult. Small kids will sit in the hole like a boat. Will update the review after I try it out. *update* tested. Works great. Probably more drag than a flat tub since the person sits in the middle on the nylon fabric. Safe and comfy for kids. I think I'll get a flat inflatable which should have more action and be more challenging to stay on. This is a great beginner tube.

We have a 5 and 6 year old and they enjoy it immensely! I don’t worry about them tubing in it. Very stable.

Aligning the shell with the fill valves is not the easiest thing to do.
