It's not difficult to produce cuts to within 1/8th inch, and often to within 1/16th inch accuracy. You can also do respectable curve cuts if needed, and the amount of dust produced is minimal. I wish I could give it 6 stars. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use and works great *by D***D on March 20, 2026* This is the first time I have ever needed to cut Hardi Backer (1/4 inch thick cement board) and this tool worked fantastic. Looking online, there are a number of different ways to cut cement board, but the other methods seemed prone to cracking or having rough edges. Since I have never used any method other than this pactool to cut cement board, I cannot verify this is true, however, I can say the pactool provided very smooth edges without cracking. I it was also easy to cut corners and round the edges. Super easy to use right out of the box.
