My wife's IPhone 6 plus has been having many battery issues where the battery charge is jumping all over the place when in use. It is over 2 years old. Software is updated. Settings checked. Rather then get a new IPhone, I figured I would try a battery replacement kit. This kit arrived quickly and came with the tools shown in the pictures. It does not come with instructions, however, there are many online videos that provide step by step guidance. The Kit comes with the battery, screen protector (did not use), wipes (did not use), 2 plastic pry triangles that look like a guitar pick (did not use), a bag of extra screws (did not use), 3 plastic prying tools (used these), 3 strips of sticky double sided tape (used), Suction cup (used), 2 Screwdrivers (used) and tweezers (used). Watch the videos to learn how to remove the battery from the phone. MOST IMPORTANT - Place the screws and metal covers that you take out in a manner so you know EXACTLY where the screws will go back in. The screws are all different sizes. If you mix them, you will have issues. I followed a video and did not have any major issues. The sticky tape is a pain to remove from the phone and a bigger pain to put the new tape in. Be careful and go slow!. MAKE SURE the battery is lined up so the connector will fit exactly where it needs to be. ALSO make sure you test the screen before closing the phone. I did get the white lines so had to re-do all of the connections as one was not correct. Note: The screws are TINY - This is difficult if you do not have steady hands. Overall, I changed the battery in about 30 minutes and it is working great. After two days, the phone battery is still at 65% and has not yet been recharged. Much better then getting a new phone. I’ll update after I’ve used it for a while. But this is a great bang for your buck. The tools are great, they include additional screws which is nice, a screen protector, and wipes all with the battery.Fired right up, and charged just fine. Not sure how well it’ll hold up as I just installed it yesterday, but it’s working like a champ now. Very impressed with the whole package. Ordering another for my wife’s phone.Worth the money for sure.

To keep it short and sweet. Had a very old 6plus battery. Battery couldnt last a day anymore without dying. Was going to pay the $90 to have apple do it but figured I'm pretty tech savvy, let me try it first. It took me maybe 30 mins total to change out battery. I watched the how to video which guided me through the whole process step by step. Super easy. Battery now lasts me 2 full days.

There is a paper with the kit that says to look for additional instructions online because the instructions provided with the kit are minimal. To be honest, the instructions provided with the kit are nonexistent. Not even a first step to install the battery.Instructions aside, YouTube has good instructions, and it was easy to install following online instructions. The battery didn’t explode right away :) and it has worked nicely for almost 3 months by now.Increase of battery life was noticed immediately, and it lasts longer than when the phone was new.

After asking my husband to get me a new battery for six months, I ordered this one. While difficult to install, the directions and tools were excellent. I would order this again if I need to.

Do Not believe this is easy; it is not. The screws and ribbon cables are so tiny that you'd have to be a jeweler to have the touch to not mess your phone up. Forget how easy it looks in YouTube video removal of the 2 tiny screws in the case next to the power input strip immediately and you've just created a very expensive paper weight.Do yourself a favor and punt this repair to a pro!sgs

The battery was easy to install fit like a glove and work excellent. The adhesive strips hold the battery firmly in place and the power clips were in the exact location making the installation very easy. My old battery would run out of power after 4-5 hours, now the new battery last 10-12.

Replaced an aging battery with this guy. Went in great, tools leave something to be desired but I have my own set already. The battery life is great. I charged and discharged it 100% to complete shutdown five times before using. This is a spare phone and it can go three weeks now without dying (with no use) and make it through and entire day no problem with heavy use.
