Just ordered the Safavieh Antiquity Collection AT14A in the 9'6" x13'6" size in ivory. The rug arrived in 3 days which was a day early. It was well wrapped in paper and plastic. Please be advised that wool rugs of this size are extremely heavy. This one weighs a 103 pounds and was marked by UPS "Extemely Heavy. Two Man Carry" all over the package. Once it was in the house and unwrapped it was everything we had hoped for: thick, soft nap; colors very close to the online pictures; well constructed all around. It does shed like any other wool rug but nothing more than we've seen with other wool rugs. We'll have to wait and see how it wears. The rug it's replacing is 19 years old and is going to a new home for some more use. So we have high expectations!

The rugs came quickly and are very pretty. I bought a room size and 1 for under the dinning room table. These matched perfectly and the nap is thick. For as inexpensive as they were, I'm impressed with the quality.

The color as shown in the picture is spot on. I bought a 6 x 9 area rug and a matching runner. I know will rug shed. It’s worse if you have pets. This isn’t my first rodeo with wool rugs and dogs, but I will say the shedding is kind of ridiculous. To the point that you need to be prepared to vacuum daily. And if you don’t dust bunnies will form that might threaten your life at some point. For some perspective, I have a robot vacuum, and I have a cordless shark, and between the two of them if I run them, I have to empty the canister repeatedly. That’s without touching anything else in the rest of the house. However, these are very well-made. Rugs and shedding is normal. Hopefully it only last a few weeks.

Can't recommend. Out of the box, this was great. Looked good, thick pile, nice and soft, just the right colors. In the days since, my house has been invaded by a colossal wave of dust and lint. It's like the carpet version of Little Shop of Horrors, with this thing trying to take over first my house, and then the world. 2+ full vacuum cleaner bags every day for ten days. The fibers are now in every single part of my house, especially the air filters! I'm wondering if in a month, there could possibly be anything left of this rug, or if I just bought a lot of extra chores and a poorly made latch-hook kit.

I was in the market for a new rug & runner. I read the reviews and decided to get the runner first to determine quality before buying a larger area rug. I have to say that this rug is very nice especially for the price. I was replacing a pottery barn rug that was very expensive but shed like crazy. I did not know if this rug would be comparable but it is and I'm happy that I can buy 2 rugs probably 3 rugs for less than 1 pottery barn rug. I plan on buying the same color rug in the larger size. The color I ordered was green and brown. The green is a light green/sage color on the border & the brown is a dark brown similar to walnut. It's very nice & it seems to work with the arts and crafts style. The thickness feels nice underfoot if placing on hardwood floors. So far no shedding but I will update later if that becomes an issue. Ordering one for the dining room next. Prime shipping is nice too came in 3 days instead of 2 but that is fast for a large item & I'm satisfied.

Carpet color and print is very pretty. The odor and continual shedding of carpet fibers is not healthy. I ordered wool, and have before. Nothing has ever been this bad. Cheaper products from China. Will probably return.

I love the design, the lighter colouring and rich feel of this rug underfoot. It fits perfectly in my Living Room and looks great against the dark hardwood floor and with my traditional design style. Because the various sites showing this carpet (including Safavieh's site) all show variations in the colour, I couldn't be sure what it really looked like, so I decided to buy the small 2x3 rug first just to be sure before investing in the larger 8'3" x 11 version. The colours did turn out to be the same as shown on the Amazon website for this rug size. So far I have not had an issue with the shedding reported in other reviews, but the initial vacuum did pick up quite a bit of lint.

This rug made my sunroom one of my favourite spots in the house, cozy and stylish, matches traditional style with some touches of retro. High quality rug in soft natural organic looking colour, thick and cozy. Thanks to producers.

Very impressed with the quality of this carpet. The colours aren't as dark as they seem in the online photo. Still a beautiful carpet.
