The trivet/rack works well for pressure canning smaller jars - it fits nicely in the pot and holds several smaller jars (up to 300ml but the larger kilner jars and 500ml jars needed more water so the handles were submerged making them inaccessible. When used with the smaller jars the silicone handles were very handy.As I didn't use it for steaming I gave it 4 stars - the missing star is due to the flimsy nature of the item, not the shortness of the handles.

The product is exactly as pictured / described... The problem is that unfortunately I didn't quite get from the pictures just how wide apart the metal grills are... So it's a steamer where most of your vegetables fall through the gaps into the water, making the thing a bit of a chocolate teapot.

I found this no good for my model of King Pro the side handles are far to high when you place it in side the pot the lid dose not seal, i appreciate the handles fold but there are certain foods you want to make standing up Ribs, Lamb shanks ect ,but just kept it took the handles off as the base was exactly what I was looking for. Making it a bit awkward to use
