Are these equivalent to blue or brown switches?

Blue switches. This is one of the best mechanical keyboards I’ve owned. I like to bang when I type and this really does it.

This is the base model that only offers lit keys in blue. Step higher up the Roccat Vulcan keyboard line (100, 120, or 121) if you want more keyboard illumination choices and more multimedia control. This model is superb though if you just want great typing. Note that you do NOT need to install Roccat's proprietary software to either leave the keys illuminated solid blue (hold the FN key and press the F3 key down) or to turn illuminated keys off (hold the FN key and press the F4 key). Your selection is remembered after you restart your computer. You do need to install Roccat software to run gaming macros.

Fantastic keyboard! (updating my review and dropping a star for a spacebar issue)

I tested out several similar mechanical keyboards, and this one had the tactile responsiveness of premium and loud clicky keyboards, a heavy high quality base, and yet is also mildly quiet. Great lighting, and beautiful. Love it! Just wish I could get the custom wrist guard and that it had a braided cable. Updated on 4/8 - After a couple of weeks the spacebar started registering multiple spaces despite me only pressing it once. I might have to return it if it keeps doing this... that would be a shame since I LOVE this keyboard.
