Love them both! As accurate as you can reasonably expect from an affordable beautifully blown hourglass sand timer. About 40-second extra for the 30-minute timer, and 4-second for the 5-minute one. Few sands stick to the body but all easily cleared up with just a gentle tap on top. P.S. about the review about "fragile, it broke" - please do share if you happen to be able to locate a 30+5 set of hourglass timer in unbreakable glass for less than $20, THANK YOU!

The product is beautiful. Perfect as a set or to gift the black sand is gorgeous.

I'm pretty sure they're just a couple of minutes off, but I like to use them for pomodoro studying. They're great for that. I think maybe the reason they're just a teensy bit off is because sometimes a little bit of sand sticks to the glass and you have to physically tap on it to make it flow. But I think this is a common problem for hourglasses. Overall I do actually really like these "hour"glasses. They're a great study aid, especially for someone who dislikes jarring alarm sounds from other timers.

Cool looking replacement for a digital pomodoro timer. They look and feel like they will hold up. I also enjoy the aesthetics. Lacking a star because sand does stick to the edges, as you can see in the picture. It is not stuck there for good, though. One tap on the top and it shoots to the middle (looks cool, but mildly annoying.) Overall doesn't affect appearance or productivity of the item too much, but you will have to tap the top quite regularly. It was a good budget timer, aesthetically pleasing for the price.

The wood for the bases is a bit rough. I’ll be sanding these down and either adding a varnish or stain. Also will add a piece of felt to both the bottom of the bases and where the hourglass sits. These are super delicate but are a nice visual time reminder for working from home.Arrived undamaged and look nice.

It's hard to find blown glass hourglasses. I love this set. They work great for an analog version of the Pomodoro method. The sand colors (red and blue in my set) are really nice. The glasses arrived well packaged and in good condition. I love the addition of the wooden bases to avoid accidental tipping although the glasses are flat enough that they can likely sit on tabletops without.

It was worth the money, considering how expensive other hourglasses I looked at were. It was delivered with adequate packaging. The larger, one-hour one is accurate. The smaller one is slightly faster than five minutes, it's about 4 minutes and 50 seconds. Good buy if you are on a budget, but if you are able to spend extra, I would suggest getting a better one.

No complaints

This is a nice looking and accurate hourglass. The reason it looses two starts is that it gets stuck from time to time, defeating the purpose of having a timer. This seems to happen 1 out of 10 times.
