Fantastic liquid!
Fantastic liquid!. . I use it for my motorcycle leathers which I wear in all weather. I easily managed two full treatments on both my leather jacket and trousers from one bottle (once every 6 months). It is a free flowing oily liquid which creeps into seams. I put on a pair of latex gloves, pour on a little and massage into the leather. It makes the leather look like it is glossy at first. Once I've treated my whole kit I leave it hanging overnight, then give it a buff up with a towel which makes the leather look normal again. It is very easy to apply and makes the leathers as water repellent as possible. Obviously, if it is pouring with rain I put waterproofs on over my leathers. But for normal riding in Scottish weather, it will see off a shower of rain without the need to stop and it helps keep the leather soft and supple. It is great stuff!

Brought my old boots back to life
Gave my old boots and shoes a new lease of life. Have used it on my new bag and boots with no problems. Seems to be a good product and worth the money.

Didn't work for me
I applied these to my light coloured tan brogues because when it rained or they got wet the water seemed to penetrate leaving dark spots - yes they are brogues but especially on the non patterned plain part of the leather. Purchased this on the backing of the great reviews. Whilst I don't doubt this has worked for others it just doesn't appear to do anything for me. I applied several layers but still no beading or any apparent repellency. 2 stars for the ease of application. Disappointing.

Really like this product
Really like this product, it has revitalised my leather shoes. I had water marks on the newish shoes. The marks were caused by shoes being wet in snowy conditions combined with salt used to grit the pavement. As I live by the sea, I now this is a grim combination for leather. Despite polishing my shoes frequently the unsightly white marks kept resurfacing. They have now gone and the shoes are like new.

Wonderful product! Bought this to treat my 15+ year old leather boots and leather jacket before a two week trip to Scotland. It worked wonders, I was able to tramp around in misty-to-wet fall weather and my beloved jacket/boots were perfectly fine, all they needed was a toweling off whenever I got indoors. As a note, I was generous with application before they went into the weather, and I used this in conjunction with leather balm after particularly rainy days.

Seems to be a good water repellant, but does not have any cleaning properties. Be sure to clean the surface thoroughly before applying this. I had a few spots on my shoe when I applied this, and it ended up engraining the stains into the leather.

I have now put three coats of this on my leather boots and they are still getting new water spots. Two stars because it seemed to do a good job of at least softening and conditioning the leather

This is not for suede or nubuck. I wish it did say that on the description here on the website. I tried it on my regular leather and it looks dark. I am waiting to see if it's gonna go back to the same color after it dries. I'm hoping it won't stay dark or else I'm gonna have to do the whole boots so it will be even in color. I'm disappointed. Oh, so yes! My boots were discolored after waiting the next day. I tried buffing it off like what the seller stated. I tried to also clean it with leather cleaner to see if it will take it off. I had to discolor my other boot so it would be even. Also I did put it on a really dark pair and it made it a little darker. I ordered the timberland brand and that was better. It's also a spray.

This product is fabulous! I purchased it because I had jut given my husband a new briefcase that is is "saddle tan". I was very concerned about it holding up, so, purchased this for a water repellent and (hopefully) a dirt repellent. I put 4 coats on it and each time it darkened down at application but, once dried, it returned to it's natural color. Now, so you will be fully informed, this is not necessarily the case when the item has been used considerably. I also applied this to some saddle tan riding boots that were probably 7 years old. It darkened them down, but the darker color reigned. However, I hadn't realized this until it happened but, when I noticed the leather at the top of the boots (on the interior, at the top) I realized this was the color the boots were when I purchased them/. It's amazing stuff!
