Works with Xbox elite
Easy install (find a good youtube video). Same quality as original, but this part is the known weakness of the xbox elite controller. You will replace it every 3-9 months. Just the way it is. there is no such thing as "upgraded plastic" on any of these offered on amazon, so don't be fooled. The home button is a little tight but doesn't affect the controller. Nice to have the screwdrivers but you only need the larger one. Plastic pry bar is useless but you really don't need it. you get 2 of these so when the first one breaks you have a spare.

Fits Perfectly
I've got a version 1 Elite controller that's been working OK for about 4 years. Recently, I noticed that the right bumper wasn't springing back properly. I watched a YouTube video about replacing the bumpers, and it looked fairly easy. I used this replacement kit, and the controller is working again. The kit includes an extra bumper part (the left and right bumpers are formed together as one piece), so I've got one in reserve. Microsoft's design of the bumpers is pretty poor. The spring tension is created by the flexing of the thin plastic that connects the bumpers to the center of the piece. Over time, this will fail due to fatigue of the plastic. I suppose Microsoft sells more controllers that way since most people probably won't bother fixing them. I recently purchased the version 2 Elite controller due to its additional features and customization. Although I'm not going to take it apart since it's under warranty, I assume that it's using the same bad bumper design.

SHINNY BUMPERS
Had to repair a used goodwill controller i found. this thing was shot: bumpers, backplate and shell was in disarray. anyway, super easy to put in. holes in the hood dont fit? then try pushin harder on them and use ur strong hand. oh the pegs broke? do what i did, super glue the thing into the hood and bam, no more " jiggling around. what are these arms for? well maybe they are the arms that press the magical buttons inside the controller. oh you cant see the RB LB? didnt know that was a big issue.

A few bumps along the way, but works perfectly
As has been mentioned, the two holes in the middle of the piece are too small to fit properly. I tried to widen them with a pen (I wasn’t at home), but I wasn’t very successful. I didn’t read the comments previously about using the smaller torx screwdriver unfortunately. Still, my elite controller now works perfectly again after the replacement. Worth the buy, just google YouTube videos on the process.

Good enough...not great
This was a decent fit and my controller is now usable once more although it is not what I would call a GREAT replacement. I had to apply considerable force when installing it as the two holes in the middle of the bumper to "attach" it to the middle piece are very small compared to the original. I had to basically force it into place. If you have the patience you can use a drill to enlarge the hole though. It is better than having a broken bumper of course so I will happily accept that this cheap repair saved my expensive controller but I will try an alternative brand of replacement parts next time. The paint not a good match in both color and sheen. It is a much brighter silver color as opposed to the more "titanium" shade of the original silver and is extremely noticeable. It is also more glossy or reflective than the original. The paint is also sprayed on very thick which leads to uneven coverage with pooling in certain areas and reduces the sharpness of details such as the edges/corners and letters (RB/LB).

Fixed my Forza edition controller!
Worked like a charm for my model 1697 controller, very pleased with the product! Install wasn't too difficult if you’ve got an idea of what you’re doing. It came with two bumper sets, a Torx T7 and T8 screwdriver, and a little plastic pry tool that made installation a lot easier. Overall I’m very pleased with the product!

Better than the original, minus the lettering.
Fantastic fit, and the color match is almost perfect. This piece is slightly more robust than the original. I would have liked the LB and RB lettering, but it's a very nice part. The installation is finicky but that's not the fault of the product. First, hook the back, line up the tabs, and hinge it closed toward the front, it will click if you did it correctly. If the bumpers move the triggers, start over, and more carefully line up the tabs. Good luck.

Works on model 1697
Both of my controllers had busted buttons, so instead of buying new I thought I’d try to replace them. It’s so nice having working buttons again! They fit both my model 1697 controllers with no problems. Installation was easy and fast. It took longer to clean the controllers than it did to install. So far I’ve had no issues using the new buttons in either controller.
