GENUINE Frigidaire 3204267 Safety Thermostat for Dryer

The elements went out of my dryer so I decided to put the element in along with the sensor and and has worked well for the past few years.

I was repairing my 10 year old dryer because it was taking twice as long to dry a load of laundry. I decided to change out the belt, heater coil assembly, rear bearing kit, thermal limiter, and safety thermostat. I wanted ONLY genuine Frigidaire parts. Amazon is great, they had all of these in stock and for around $100 for everything. Now my dryer works like it was brand new, and it should last another 10 years! ****I ordered this safety thermostat along with all the other parts listed above. When I received my Frigidaire 131553900 Heater Assembly, it already had a NEW safety thermostat mounted on the coil pan. I returned this individual part and got my $27 back**** I do recommend Amazon for your appliance repair parts. The price is great, and they are genuine products, not aftermarket.

I replaced this part and nothing changed - so obviously the part and the part that I replaced were both working fine. now to find the part that is causing my issue

Our Electrolux dryer recently quit, giving us an error message. We were just out of warranty (of course!). My husband is a handyman so we knew he could do the repair himself. We found a YouTube video searching our error code online. It showed the complete repair from start to finish, and told us what parts to order! We found that ordering them here, was the cheapest and quickest way to get them. The very next day, we got the parts, and within an hour, my husband had fixed the dryer! This is by far the quickest way to get inexpensive, quality parts for your repairs! Even if you don't have a handyman at home, I would order the parts for your repairman or handyman to complete the job. I am sure you will save a few bucks in the process!

My Kenmore dryer started overheating. I could smell the lint toasting (not a good sign). Using the internet, I made a guess that it was the thermostat that had died. Amazon came to the rescue with a replacement at a price much cheaper than a new dryer. It was a booger to find on the outer tub and a bigger booger to get my hand in to yank it out and replace it. But I did and I did. If you need to do the same, check out the on-line videos for your brand. Seek out the replacement on Amazon. This is and will always be my first stop for appliance parts. Problem solved again, no toasty lint.

I have bought a few OEM parts for my dryer and they have always been in a sealed gem package except this one. I suspect this is not a OEM supplied part...

As with the thermal limiter, I decided to replace this part as well while I had the unit apart to replace the heating element. My time is worth more than the cost of the two parts. Since I was replacing the heating element already, I chose to do all three parts at the same time. Direct replacement for factory installed item.

I had an E64 error on my Frigidaire Affinity Dryer, turns out the thermostat failed and caused the coils to overheat and warp allowing them to touch. This thermostat was a perfect factory OEM replacement. Also I am pretty handy around the house, and thanks to several youtube videos swapping this part our was a breeze.
