Great Watch, good nite light, love the brown
Great watch. The nite light illumination works great with the high quality glow look versus a cheap little light shining in from the side. It looks really good for such an inexpensive watch. I like the brown including the brown molded plastic part and especially the wrist band. The wrist band is my favorite part and is very comfortable. The watch face is on the smaller side compared to my other silver/ black Casio. I have always had casinos and now I have a nice brown one I can wear casual and look good while keeping that great simple quick view Casio look that I like.

Can't beat a nice looking sports watch like this for the price
Product shipped fast, got it up and running pretty quickly. Seems pretty durable, and it looks kind of fashionable too. I think it would look good with a pair of khaki pants. Would have given the watch a 5/5 if you could change settings while the light was on. While configuring the watch's settings, to move to the next option, you have to press the light button. But while the light is still active (which stays on for about 3 seconds) you have to wait for the light to dim again to change any options. So, for example, if you are trying to set an alarm, you have to hit the light button to move the selection over to the "hour" part of the clock. It turns on the background light for 3 seconds, and while the light is on, you CAN'T change the hour. I don't believe you can move to the next option until the light is off as well. It's a bit of a pain, but I can deal with it. Especially for the price. But a little more planning there would have been nice! Other than that, the watch is great. Fits around my wrist just fine, and I'm a pretty skinny guy. I am 5'8" and weigh 135 lbs. I can easily put my fingers around my wrist, with a little room to spare, and this watch fits nice. (Although the last hole on the watch's wrist latch is not reachable by the latch itself. It is impossible to set the watch's diameter to the last, smallest hole option, but nobody will ever know that but you). So if you are looking for a decent watch that is semi-fashionable that is not perfectly streamlined to change settings for, and may or may not fit your twig wrist, for a great price you can't beat it. GOOD LUCK!

Excellent Wrist Watch
I bought this watch to replace an older Casio model and it has certainly met all of my expectations. It's great for swimming at the lake and seems to be very rugged. I am very pleased with the looks and the delay on the backlight was a pleasant surprise. I just needed a watch that tells time and this was a perfect choice.

The best inexpensive watch I've ever owned
So I bought one of these Casio watches around 15 years ago at a Walgreens or similar store. I can't even remember it was so long ago. I think I changed the band once or twice and changed the battery once when the display got dim. Eventually, I just took to keeping the watch without a band in my pocket. It just never gave up and was a familiar comfort. So I was pretty bummed when I realized I had lost it after all those years. The next best thing to finding my lost watch was realizing that Casio still makes the same piece so here's to another 15 years and one of the best small investments I've ever made. I'm curious about how many of these little buggers they must have sold so far. It's a great little watch even if i do have to adjust it twice a year for daylight savings.

reliable, resilient and irresistable
casio digital watches are simply the most durable watches i know in this price range. the batteries actually last the 5 to 7 years that they are rated. being water resistant i have never had to take my casio watch off whether in the rain, washing up, showering or swimming. the illuminator versions such as this one are much better for viewing in the dark than those which emit light from a small bulb off to the side. that's why i usually will only buy these. this particular model has a nice sporty look to it, quite different from other casios in this low-cost category. the watch itself almost always outlasts the resin watch band after some 3 years but it is easy enough to replace. one might wonder how i can comment on a variety of these watches when i am emphasizing their long lasting lives - it is because i have over the years bought dozens of these watches to give to friends as gifts and have seen how long they last with them. to me casio is one of the best little bespoken companies around.

EXCELLENT EVERYDAY WATCH For The MONEY
This watch looks better in person than on there photo. Over the years I have had good luck with Casio casual watches. I usually keep them until the battery goes dead, or the watch material wears down which is usually around 3 years. I just wanted a watch with large numbers, waterproof for fishing or swimming, day and date that I don't have to reset every month and a light that I can see at night. This watch has it, plus extra features that I will probably never use. This watch is large enough to easily read the numbers, but not overly large. It's extremely light and comfortable to wear, in fact I wear it to bed most nights. Great for letting you know what time it is at night with out turning the lights on. I would recommend this watch if that is what you are looking for. How can you go wrong for this price. Plus it really does not look like a cheap watch, love the brown tones which is definitely different from your average watch. When this one goes I will probably replace it with this watch again. UPDATE::: I have had the watch over 10 months now with no problems. The time has been accurate to the minute.
