Ateco Plastic Turntable and Base, 12-in, White

I’m an amateur and only do minimal cake decorating for family birthdays and seasonal events—not sure how I survived without a great cake stand??? This is heavy, rotates smoothly but not too easily, and makes every part of the process easier. Even my crumbcoats turn out more even!!Minor issue: the non-slip mat that the base sits on is ridiculously thin and traps crumbs like crazy. I’m going to try cutting a replacement out lf an old silicone mat.

This is the one. I knew it was going to be a good product but I didn’t expect it to be THIS good. It doesn’t just spin. It glides effortlessly. My only regret is that I didn’t buy it sooner. It feels like it will last a lifetime.

Bought this cake stand, heavy base and removable top, about a year or so ago. It still spins soooo smooth and no wobble. I highly recommend this stand. My only complaint is with the non-slip pad. It doesn’t stay “non-slip” for long so buy a few extras. I use double sided tape to keep it from moving on the turntable.

I tested the spin with a wood box weighing over 20 pounds, it didn't wobble or slow the spin at all. Also, for lack of a better word, it's pretty--sleek and stylish while being absolutely functional.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought both Kootek and Ateco brands (Ateco one was used/on sale for $33.) and compared them. If Ateco wasn't on sale I likely would have stuck with Kootek. Almost as good for ~$30 less. see the video

Needed to replace my worn Wilton stand. The Wilton had a non slip pad on the top that hands down beats this slippery surface. I had to purchase additional non slip mat because I didn’t want to cut the 12in non slip circle that came with the stand. I decorate all sizes and definitely use the 12in mat so I didn’t want to trim it for my 6in cakes. Other than that, it’s sturdy, turns beautifully, easy to clean.

I wished I had bought this from the beginning!! I had the lazy Susan from IKEA before this but OMG this is a game changer. It’s sturdy and turns evenly. Brings out a levelled cake each time!

I've been desperate to buy one of these turntables and the day finally came where I thought I'd treat myself...it doesn't disappoint, BUY ONE.

The stand is perfect for cake decorating, so much smoother than my old one, worth the price I paid. I would highly recommend this item.
