Vera WangKing Blanket, Luxury Cotton Bedding, Super Soft Essentials with Waffle Weave Knit (Waffleweave White, King)

I love this blanket!!! It has a light and cool feel however not so light that it feels like just a another cheap blanket. It has a nice thickness to the soft material but not heavy at all, it keeps my body temp just right when sleeping because I’m a “warm/hot sleeper”. Now I’m considering buying the gray one too!

Purchased twice. First one had such poor stitching I returned immediately (loose threads all over, lines in the middle of the pattern). They do look nice and feel heavy but never got to use either one. Second one looked okay in terms of quality so I was going to keep it. Stuck in washer and dryer on delicate. Had to clear my dryer vent 3 times, it produced so much lint I could have made a hand towel (see other reviewer pic). Then put it back on bed and it didn't even cover the edges. What a waste of time.

This had a large hole in it and was a return that was not disclosed. It also stunk like someone’s fabric softener. By the time I realized this it was too late to return it. It looked like someone has washed it ripped it while doing so then returned it. It should not have been resold.

I love the blanket but it’s a King and doesn’t even cover enough so you can tuck it in. It fits like a queen. Disappointed in that.

Overall decent blanket. Very pleased with the thickness, weight and warmth. I like the blanket but not completely happy with it. First of all I was aware of the issues I would have with the first was but oh my! The shear amount of lint that you get off it the first time through the laundry is just insane! Was afraid I may have ruined my washer or risked clogging my drain after taking it out. You will definitely want to shake it out before putting it in the dryer to get as much of the lint off as you can because every 10 minutes you will need to clean your lint filter. Think I emptied mine like ten times and it was packed. Washing this blanket is literally like throwing a small bale of raw cotton in the wash. Secondly there are a few straggler threads around the hem of the piece that I feel should not have been an issue given the cost of this piece. As far as softness and plushness goes it is a waffle weave blanket and as far as I know there is no such thing. It is as soft as a waffle weave can be IMO. I am sure you could make it softer by adding softener when washing but when I think of waffle weave soft is not what I envision.

It is a great weight and weave, warm in winter cool in summer. It does produce lint, most of these blankets do. Eventually they shed less, but it can be annoying. I have used a cotton blanket for years. This one has a slightly different texture. Most are clearly woven, this is more like a thermal texture. Like small squares. I have seen this in baby blankets but never in a large blanket. I am very happy and would recommend.If you look on Amazon at the "GLAMBURG 100% Cotton Thermal Blanket" (baby Blanket) it shows a very good example of the weave / texture of this blanket.

This blanket shed so much on the first wash that the lint clogged the pump on our washer, and we had to clear it using a shop vac. Plus, our cat's claws snagged in the waffle weave immediately. We had to unhook the panicked cat, and the snag is ugly, so our blanket is already ruined. TERRIBLE QUALITY. This blanket does not seem long for this world; I will never buy from this manufacturer again!

Its a Nice blanket, nothing great. It really shrunk a lot after the 1st wash. Not really worth $75.

Really liked the thick weave. Shrank a bit after drying on low setting. Looks great. Feels great. Good quality cotton.
