Sea to Summit Collapsible Camp Kitchen Sink

The Sea to Summit portable sink is a great option to keep in your camp cook kit. It packs small and weighs almost nothing. You're not going to wash large pots and pans, but it's great for washing hands, face, cups, utensils and small dishes. This one has become a permanent addition to my camp gear.

This packs down into my day pack nicely! Very well made and very versatile! Washington cookware, washing up, gathering water etc.

Kitchen sink, dog bowl... you decide. This packs up small and does exactly what the product page suggests it does. Folds up to about four inches. Super lightweight. Used it on month long camping trip. It has a spring coiled wire around the rim to keep it's shape. Once filled it holds liquid well. I was a little worried that it wouldn't hold liquid as the only firm part of the item is the wire coil around the lip. But it worked great. Next time I might choose the larger size, but this one was perfect for smaller dishes. I did not use it as a dog bowl, but know some folks who have and they love it for that purpose as they say it is super easy to stow.

This worked well as a kitchen sink for rinsing dishes while camping in CO/WY NPs. Not sure I'm folding it up right to put it back in the bag, but I just got back and have to wash it out before stowing it for our next adventure. It does hold water best when full. One night I left it in the bear locker half full, and in the morning it had collapsed. I made sure to empty my dirty dish water into the toilet or wash sink, and I'm glad I had this because not every campsite has a wash area or allows washing in bathroom sinks (if it even has sinks). It was also convenient to wash something I needed immediately (like a knife) at the campsite. Well constructed, and I'm eager to figure out how to return it to its tiny little bag for future trips!

Pricey, but handy and works well...folds into a tiny stuff-case and weighs almost nothing. Saves water effectively, instead of trying to pour water over something for cleaning. I selected the 5L version and this has been sufficient for my needs. The larger versions just seemed like they would promote wasting a valuable camping commodity...water.

I bought two of these to take the place of two rigid plastic wash basins that I used for both washing dishes and washing myself; but with a smaller packing footprint and weight. My original issue with the Summit 5-liter sink was that when camping with limited water resources, the Summit units don't hold their form too well when using only a small amount of water and can be difficult to use without spilling the liquid. I solved this issue with a home-made suspension system made from an old 1"-wide tape measure, and my initial use went well. Future trips will give me more data, but I think for me it's a winner. The quality of the unit is very good as long as it suits your purposes. From some posts I've seen, folks have purchased the unit thinking they would like them, but didn't really have a solid use reason and ended up not using them. If you have a real need, I think you will be satisfied with the Summit kitchen sink.

This is friggin' awesome. I will admit, I have only gone backpacking solo and haven't used this while backpacking (I just eat right out of my pot and wash in the pot), but I have gone car camping a lot with my boyfriend and dog and this thing is amazing for that. I have a Wildernest camper on my truck and try to keep my car camping essentials minimalist since my truck is a 4 banger and I don't want too much weight (these Wildernests are heavy!). I use this for everything; washing hands, face, dishes, and I like it for grabbing water out of the lake or river to drown out campfires at BLM campsites. I love that it packs down really small and the material seems durable. It can sit on anything! When I go backpacking with another person or people, I will definitely bring the sink. It would be really handy to have two for dishwashing after group meals; one to wash, one to rinse. I'll probably get another one soon! I recommend this thing!

Great for multiple used during backpacking. I took the 5 Liter on a week long backpacking trip and was happy to have it. I used it for washing up dishes, cat baths and carrying water. It worked well for those purposes and appears to be durable.

Usato per un viaggio in Patagonia zaino in spalla. Ci ha permesso di fare il bucato per 2 settimane. Robusto e versatile!

Love it good size for 1-2 set dishes, or to use for quick bath while camping. Wished I got biger one tho. A little hard to get back in package.
