I have been taking this supplement as prescribed by my doctor for several years. It is very easy to take and I do enjoy the flavor also. It is vey easily dissolved in water and promotes good gut health. I have tried other fiber supplements in the past and always come back to this brand. Overall, a good buy considering the amount of doses in each package. Highly Recommended.

This is a good value. The texture is fine and it dissolves in water quickly. This size can last awhile. It is easy to use and it tastes pleasing.

As the saying goes, what works for one, may not work for another. My husband and I both take fiber supplements per our doctor's recommendation, but we have to take different brands. I tried taking Metamucil and it gave me horrible watery diarrhea that I could barely control. No thanks. Hard pass. My husband tried it and had no issues whatsoever. He liked the flavor, found it easy to mix and it helped keep him regular. Regardless, he still tried the brand I switched to, hoping we could take the same one. Nope. That one caused nothing but chronic constipation for him. Good times. Back to Metamucil he went! So now I take my preferred brand and he takes Metamucil and we're both happy. The price is pretty much the same for both and they are covered under my HRA. That makes me even happier.

If you aren't regular and you don't use this, it's your fault.

Honestly, a while back I heard some radio talk show talking about having a movement so clean that a wipe afterwards came up clean and I honestly did not even know that was possible... I'll tell you what... I actually experienced that with this, combined with a little better diet and good hydration. I usually drink enough water, but rarely get the amount of fiber that I should be eating. This is a (obviously not ideal) substitute. If you feel like things aren't moving as well as they should, or if you're not getting a complete movement, a glass with a tablespoon or so of this every night for a few days fixed me right up. I'm trying to get more fiber in my diet now, so I don't use this regularly anymore, but it definitely did the job. A little tip - I've heard that fiber supplements shouldn't be taken at the same time as medications, because they can allegedly slow the absorption of medicine or make it less effective, which is why I took mine at night.

I had tried pure psyllium husk powder but it wouldn't dissolve and tasted unpleasant. This product, on the other hand, dissolves well if you stir vigorously, and tastes really good. Has helped with my constipation. No toxic sweetners! The only thing I would change would be the yellow 6 dye. I would prefer a brown drink than drink this chemical, personally! However, it's still more natural than the sachets sold in the chemist's. Please keep making the "real sugar" version! It's great!
