The unique, nontraditional design caught my eye when I was looking for ways to spruce up the simple, sleek design of my new Mac. I have it on my MacBook Pro underneath a translucent grey, rubberized, case.http://www.amazon.com/Mosiso-13-Inch-Rubberized-MacBook-Display/dp/B00EXV66X2/ref=cm_cr-mr-titleProtection and style in one! The design of this skin shows through really well, and in my opinion, the combination of the two is better than either of them alone.The skin was easy to apply. There is even room for error to lift a portion of the skin back up and reapply during application. But once it's set, I wouldn't mess with it. (I did not try to.)The only negative thing I can say about the skin is that the fit was not great. The skin is larger than it needs to be, requiring you to cut it on one or both sides to not have it hanging too much over the side edges. As it comes, centering the skin is not possible if you want to line up the Apple logo on the device with the pre-made hole in the skin. Cutting it was quite a pain. It's difficult to see if you've cut enough, and cut it straight, until you've already done it.This would have been a real problem for me as far as aesthetics go. I am pretty good at crafting and cutting, but the alteration is still noticeable if you look close enough. With the translucent case that I applied on top of the skin, this flaw is no longer noticeable.The price includes two skins. I could have saved one in case this one got messed up, but I chose to apply the second one to the bottom of the device. I had to punch holes in it to allow for the four round bumpers on the bottom, but that was easier than the side-cutting on the front skin. My case covers the bottom too, so I am quite happy with how the combination looks on the device.The skin seems like it could get easily scratched or worn-looking. Another reason I'm happy to have a case over it.Except for the sizing defect, I'm very pleased with my purchase and would purchase others. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality product and well packaged. *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States on August 31, 2015* Product arrived on time and well packed. Looks like it's a very good quality skin (having a 3m sticker paper as shown on the back).Will try to install it and make an update.Update: Sept. 4.Installed it on my wife's MBP. It's beautiful with the material (3m) being tough and sticks very well. I installed it without any bubbles using only my hands. The way I did it was start from one of the edge ( the one near to me) and peeled the backing about 2 inches, aligned from the edge of the MBP, have somebody just lightly press the tntire length on the edge. Then when seemingly it looks alighned, I started running my fingers pressing the skin, much like how a printer printed on paper, slowly edge to edge. Then, peeled off another 2 inches, then run my finger again edge to edge. I kept doing the is until the end. So I didn't need to used the tool that came with it and there were no bubbles. I then God a dry cloth and wiped it putting moderate pressure on the edges and corners. Everything came out quite nice! My wife loved it! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Meh... *by A***Z on Reviewed in the United States on February 8, 2014* I have a white Macbook from Late 2009 and I needed a decal that would look good on the older version Mac as well as have a hint of my personality in it.First off, this skin/decal is beautiful and is printed on the highest quality, highest adhesive 3M sticky paper. Its brand new, you can still smell the printing press coming off of it.The only downside is that it looks better on the metal Macbooks. It looks fine on the white, the size is accurate and all that... It just looks better on the metal Macbook...The shipping took forever, in my opinion, but I got it by the time I was supposed to so it was probably just me being impatient.Other than all the above, its a good product. Yes, I got two sent to me too (thats in case you mess up the first time) - the decal will stretch and not work anymore if you try to take it off... so they give you a backup for free.One thing I would recommend, is for the company to include some "installation" instructions for people who have never put decals on their products before.
