how long does an unopened jar last for?

I've had jars that I've opened 6 weeks beyond the date and they're still good. And they're good for a couple weeks after opening

Hello, This item has to be refrigerated. That is why we ship in a styrofoam box with ice packets. For refrigerated and frozen items is highly recommended the expedited form of shipment. If you choose not to do so, the chances of getting to you frozen/refrigerated is in the winter. In the summer there is a higher probability that the heat will influence your packet.

Love it!

I thought being light the flavor would not be so good. But it is just like the traditional. No need to sacrifice taste. I loved it that they sent in a foil envelope to keep it cold, when I opened it and touched the cups with the requeijao they were still cold!!!!
