I was concerned that the magnets wouldn't be strong enough for that, but as it turns out, it wasn't an issue. I've uploaded two pictures that show the front and back in the block, and you can really size the width of the block. These are substantial, weighted blocks that held 2 photos perfectly. The acrylic is clear/ The magnets themselves are visible (as expected) but not obtrusive. They stand solidly as they are quite thick and well made. I am very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.
