This is not a direct replacement for the whisk that came with your KitchenAid. It is aluminum and will corrode if you put it in your dishwasher.

Not a great fit
I purchased this whisk to replace my original one. Though it claims to be the correct size for the bowl it doesn’t seem to fit quite as well. When whisking ingredients such as butter it doesn’t seem to reach the bottom of the bowl and sides leaving behind a layer of unwhisked ingredients.
