K&N RF-1042DK Black Drycharger Filter Wrap - For Your K&N RF-1042 Filter

I also had one of these filter wraps on my last K&N CAI kit and you just can't beat them. I don't mind spending money on my ride but this thing looks like a napkin for $30. Don't feel bad though, I had one of these on my truck's CAI for almost three years and they just work great! It keeps a lot of the small dust / junk out of your filter so it stays cleaner longer for better performance and the wrap can just be wiped down with a clean dry rag to keep it from adding restriction. When first installed it fits tight & takes a little careful work to get it on the filter. The elastic in each end will relax for a looser fit over a year or so but even then it never slipped off my filter and kept right on working great! It is worth the cost for the protection and good look you get from it, I highly recommend this product!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FILTER WRAP! It is cheap insurance against water/moisture being sucked into filter and also another layer of protection against dirt. Helps extend filter cleanings as well. Filter wrap is extremely easy to install. Both ends of the wrap has elastic band rings sewn in the main wrap. One end has a larger opening that slides over the filter first and then the narrow end of wrap fits snug around chrome filter cap. Wrap can be easily removed once dirty, so you could just run the filter alone or rinse/dry the wrap and reinstall. You cannot go wrong with this item and they come in a few different colors!

J'ai acheté ce cache filtre à air étant donné que je ne veux pas avoir de surprise par temps de pluie. C'est du sur mesure, mais à quel prix: un bête cache en matière synthétique au logo K&N pour 36.- € ????? Je pense que la marge bénéficiaire se situe aux alentours de 1000%. A mon humble avis, K&N devrait fournir cet accessoire d'origine avec ses kits d'admission. Bon, assez lamenté, mis à part le prix, c'est parfait.

No piensen que es solo una tela, el material es muy especial, si cubre del polvo y funciona para alargar el tiempo antes del mantenimiento del filtro, además soluciona las basuras que suelen quedarse adheridas al filtro, en cuestión de rendimiento y sonido no se nota ninguna diferencia sigue funcionando perfectamente
