I have a Trek Émonda with disc brakes and was at the end of my rope. I had truly come to hate disc brakes on a bike. My brakes would squeal whenever I applied them to a full stop and sometimes long before that. I would ride down some steep hills in a town where the bike path took you through the middle of town and my brakes would sound like a flock of geese. It was embarrassing. I changed my pads and rotors and cleaned them with alcohol, sandpaper, all of the known tricks. I eased up the caliper screws and tightened them with the brakes applied to ensure they were straight, etc., etc. I bedded them repeatedly. Finally, I ordered this Finish Line brake cleaner in desperation. I sprayed both sides of both rotors and went for a ride. It was like a miracle. No noise at all, even on the dreaded hills in town. This stuff is worth every penny. I can stop hating disc brakes... except for how heavy they are. If you have disc brakes on your bike, you need this cleaner. I ordered a 2nd bottle to take with me to RAGBRAI because of the embarrassment last year. No, I don't work for Finish Line. This stuff is just that good.

The product is perfect and works just as advertised, however without the red nozzle extension, it can get very messy, but otherwise, it's easy to use, great value for money, with the ability to clean your brakes many times, and the dry time seems to work rather quickly.

got a new ebike rear brake will not stop squeak bought this stuff spray good amount on both sides of disk waited about 15min test rode and WOW squeak is almost all gone just a lil but nothing like it was i highly recommend in fact i think i will buy a second can.. well it works for a very short period. Did some research and found juiced bikes are known for brake squealing. I have to go with different pad compound uhg

Excellent for bike rotors and calipers. No muss no fuss and the squeaks disappear. For older brakes be sure the pads don’t need to be replaced.

This is very good, better than I expected. It evaporates really fast, of course, but that is what these do. A little smelly, but stopping brake squealing is worth it.

...I end up having to use it everyday! I bought this to address a squeaking issue in my bicycle's disk brake which developed after putting on some miles since I bought the bike new, 1000 miles or so. Before using this product, I would wipe my disks down with some water or rubbing alcohol, which would work for a couple or more days. I was hoping that this cleaner would solve all my problems. Unfortunately, I have had mixed results. Ok, it does work, and it is easier than my previous method, just spray on and let dry. It does dry quickly and so far it has not damaged any surfaces, just like the ad said. Having said that however, the effectiveness only works for a day or less. It has become my before ride ritual, fortunately it does not take long, less than topping off the pressure of my tires. The problem may be with my expectations? My squeak only happens under light braking, ie when trying to slow down a little, the initial phase of the pads hitting the disks and goes away with harder pressure. It does make a hell of a noise, sometimes starling pedestrians. Lately, I have been using used dryer sofetning sheets. The sightly abrasive nature seems to take care of the noise just as well. I'm hoping that used with the cleaner, the surface will become truly clean again and get rid of the noise. Incidentally, the cleaner will not dissolve old pad material imbedded in the disk.

Shows it comes with a nozzle but the nozzle provided does not fit the head of the can (in fact not sure any nozzle would fit its head) so effectively does not actually come with a nozzle
