My second order from this company, each time, a different size dowel. These are square and only 1/4 inch. Only one was a little splintered, but still very usable. The quality of the products I have received, are amazing, true to size, smooth, consistent color and form. The company has followed up the delivery each time, with an email making sure the customer is satisfied with the purchase. The products are available in a multitude of sizes and lengths. I cannot recommend this company and/or their product enough. And no.. I have never gotten anything free or a discount for my reviews on anything, from anyone. Appears that I had no idea what it was I ordered. These were NOT what I was looking for. Any too small for what I needed. My fault as I didn't read well enough as to know what these actually were.Going to keep as a crafter I'm sure I'll use them for something.

I really like that these dowels are square. I also like the length. I used them on the back of small quilted wall hangings. There are plenty of 12 inch dowels out there, but I needed various lengths, and these were perfect. They were easy to cut and were perfect for my needs.

I use this product to mount my canvases. They don't come with any hardware to display them on a wall. I use a staple gun to fix these dowl rods to the back of the canvas, which makes it easy to hang them on a nail. If they aren't the correct size, they are easy to cut with a hack saw.

This is a first time for me using wood dowels. I am making Christmas tree outlines. Filling the insides with lights and ornaments. I am still working on the trees.Thank you

I purchase a great deal of craft products and these square dowel rods are SUPERIOR in quality. I highly recommend getting them if you are a crafter.

I used these for my daughters Christmas present, she needed a stable for her horses, the worked perfectly for both braces for the wall and trim around the walls and stall doors, I’ll definitely buy again for the next toy making project.

Worked great for my picture frame application; 20" by 35" using reclaimed barn wood and these square dowels glued and tacked inside the frame to hold in the glass in place. A razor saw worked great to miter the tiny corners of these dowels, with no splitting at all. Pretty true to size and very straight and true. I highly recommend these square dowels and will purchase more as required.
