Ab- ab- ab- ab- absolutely, absolutely, absoLUTEly LOVE!!!!
I have the gold HOHOFILM film on a back window, but I cannot believe I didn't buy this blue film earlier from the upstairs front. I think it looks amazing, knocks down a tremendous amount of light, heat, and UV rays, and the HOHOFILM I put in the back has held up superbly. Also, if you happen to have overly enthusiastic neighbors who love Christmas floodlights, this will knock down a massive quantity of the spill that can pass through and around a heavy drape.Regarding any review complaining about insulation, it's not that hard. There are numerous how-to videos on Youtube, the tools are minimal, and little flubs--which may happen when you do anything for the first time--are easy enough to fix or hardly noticeable. Once you have a little practice, an at-home job is hard to tell from a professional one, in my opinion.

Give it a chance
First off, the way it arrived was very confusing. I ordered "Blue" so when it arrived and was actually blue/silver I panicked and thought I had received the wrong order as I was under the impression that both sides would be blue. As you can see from my picture it is a very bright mirrored silver and not a bluish silver either. The clear backing on the adhesive was also pretty hard to remove so at first I thought it didn't have backing. You have to peel the backing off the blue side, spritz with soapy water, then apply to the surface. This was also weird to me as that means the blue faces out and silver faces in. I wanted blue on both so it worked out fine for my purposes (cosplay sunglasses), but I wouldn't use on actual windows as it's harder to see out of the silver side than blue side in my opinion. Both sides are mirrored, but I wish the blue was a touch more mirrored. So if you're like me and putting this on something close to your face then it's great, but if you're looking for on windows to look at maybe across the room then it might be a bit annoying to see silver more often than the outside. Cosplayers delight though!4 out 5Pros: blue faces outwards & is mirrored. Adhesive works well. Nicely packaged for delivery in a tube & came with instructions.Cons: silver inside and is harder to see through than the blue. Backing difficult to remove.

Easy to use great quality! Love HOHOFILM!!
I love this brand of mirror window film! I've bought several rolls now of different colors but I am sticking with this brand. I use mirror window film on glass top tables that I buy and refinish and turn into infinity tables. And it works great! The adhesive is on the colored side which is perfect because that ends up being the side facing up on my tables. It's easy to work with as long as you start out with a very clean dust free work area. I totally recommend this brand to anyone!

Absolute trash.
This was absolute trash. I installed it as it was said to do in the instructions, by wetting both the window and sticky side of the film with soapy water, and then squeezed the water out. The entire thing unstuck from the glass after squeezing off all the water and did not stick at all. This is complete trash and I don’t understand how anyone can like this product. I literally had to tape down all the edges or else it would roll up in a tube again like how it came. The adhesive does not work AT ALL.The only reason this has 1 Star is because it does reflect the light. You’re better off taping this thing to your glass than using the adhesive it cane with.

Very good product!
I installed on a curved surface and the material handled it fine. On a flat surface with water and a little bit of soap mixed and sprayed onto the surface your typical home owner should be able to apply it with a vinyl squeegee.I work for a wrap shop so I’m a decent bit experienced with using heat, cutting tools, etc with materials like this.

Looks great!
Not a pro by any means with window tint but it applied easy enough and looks great too. It did start to pop off on curved surfaces, but that could be on me too im not sure
