Per doctors order I had to take this stuff to prep for a medical procedure that I was having where I had to clean out. I purchased this from Amazon and drank 10oz of it at twelve noon the day before my procedure. The taste wantn't bad. It was a little sour like eating a lemon 🍋. But no where as bad as the other stuff that I have used before. I did like the mixed berry taste. It started working a couple hours later and As per the doctor I drank lots of water and clear liquids after drinking it so that it wouldn't leave a chalky residue. By the time I went to bed that night I was all cleaned out. I will be using this stuff for now on anytime that I have to prep myself for a medical procedure. The doctor told me that I did a very good job at preping for the procedure. I owe it all to this stuff.

This is a good product. For one thing, it's not in pill form, so if you have problems with taking pills, this will deliver all the goods in a liquid form. The taste isn't super fabulous, but it's definitely good. I mainly take this product because of my painful charley horses that always come on in the middle of the night. When I take this product regularly within a short time the charley horses all but stop! Magnesium is actually also very good for your heart, joints, and bowels. If it affects your bowels too much, just take a teaspoon full instead of a tablespoon...or alternate nights. But taken on a daily basis it has really alleviated my painful charley horses! Sometimes I forget for a few days, but the cramping at night reminds me to not be so forgetful about taking it.

Gross tasting but absolutely works

I have been purchasing this magnesium citrate for months, recommended by my physician for use as a laxative and it certainly does work well! However, with my last two purchases from Amazon I had i issues with the bottles as the product had separated and settled at the bottom of the bottle. What was left was a very thin, yellowish liquid that in no way resembled the original product. (Amazon was great, as always, with their concern and refund, but I am now going to order directly from Blue Bonnet and no longer from Amazon.) My concern is that if people are ordering for the first time they may not realize that most of the citrate is hardened and at the bottom of the bottle!

I love this product because I don't swallow 'horse pill's well. BUT two times now they have sent me the 'horse pill' capsules! Come on! So while the product gets 5 stars but order pullers get 1/2 a star. I can't return the unopened bottle. What am I supposed to do w/ now 2 bottles of these horse pills! ARGH. The ACTUAL liquid product is great and helps keep me regular and sleep a little better- when I can get the right order.

An easy way to take magnesium daily.

I use to have leg cramps ad foot cramps at night but since taking this magnesium I no longer have that problem.
