I see people talking about "scalpers" what are they?

If you pay full price for an item when it is still in print, then 4 years later you want to sell it and the item has gone up in price, people will call you a "scalper" if you dare to sell it for anything higher than the price you paid from 4 years earlier. Because when you've spent thousands on games and mostly lost money, it's some kind of crime that you might get lucky and make a profit for once. They pretend that you are the reason they can't get the item for $200 even though they could also have bought it at the same price at the same time, and they expect you to sell your item for dirt cheap even though they cannot and would not ever offer the item at that price.

Is this 3ds the North American version?

The North American version of *Yellow Pikachu* n3DS XL was available starting Feb 24, 2017, so if anyone else has this question, pay attention to the date of the reviews and answers. I bought this product from GAMES NETWORK and can confirm it is the NA model.

Scalpers are even ruining it for regular ones now?

Yes. 2 days ago, i saw that the new nintendo 3ds xl costed $174.99 and there were like 32 consoles like that in stock. a minute ago, amazon told me that i can have an OLD console for $179.99. those scalpers are pretty much the reason i had to go for psvita which does not have 3d feature and have sky high memory card price
