The color and quality of the bamboo is good, and as expected.The 16 large screws were of good quality used for the assembly of the bamboo sections, and it went together quickly.The one issue I have is the 8 very small screws which secure the hinge of the storage compartment top were "completely rusted."

The wood looked really nice but the quality was lousy. None of the slats were straight, my husban practiclly had to re-glue the wood and fix it up to look presentable

We order twice - the first pkg. showed up completely broken. We returned and got areplacement. Second pkg was ok. No instructions - not easy to assemble. Final productis fine - for 39.00 it does the job - but certainly just proves you get what you pay for.Buy - but beware that this is a potential challenge.

Wow, this item exceeded my expectations! I had a very limited space for a shoe rack. I literally looked at every shoe rack on Amazon. This was the only one that fit my required dimensions. But I am thrilled that this item was the one that worked. Every shoe I needed to get off the floor, fit on this rack. I got 11 pairs of shoes on this rack and my closet is vastly improved!It was easy to put together, sturdy, the wood looked great, with no damage or blemish.

This is a mate to the bath "desk" I bought and makes a good set in the bathroom. I have more things than I have space so this was really helpful for that reason as well as providing a good place to put on my shoes as well as storing the shoes neatly. Harder for my new puppies to chew on than my other wood bench, as an aside. If I need another, I'd buy one from this seller. Also this one is impervious to water unlike other benches I have.

Initially I was very frustrated due to the lack of parts, and instructions. Now after several days of use I felt a new review was needed. I dropped one star for the missing items as described. The bench is nice looking and perfect for my closet. It is comfortable to sit on and holds shoes as promised. I dropped a second star due to the fact that as much tightening as I can do, there is still some unnecessary movement to the bench. I don't think it is enough to create a falling hazard, just enough for me to think of it every time I use it. It is great for the price, but due to the 2 issues I mentioned, I would not buy again.

This is great in my closet. Keeps frequently worn shoes off the floor and makes a nice sturdy seat.

Product is sturdy and easy to assemble. The two shelves to put footwear works well for shoes but not for boots or high heels.
