Perfect
After reading some of the reviews, I almost didn't purchase. Glad I did, worked perfect for me. All you have to do is follow the directions, which was simple.

Adds perfect detail!
Worked perfectly! It took a couple tries (before putting on cake) to get the right thickness because I was rolling by hand but once I got the hang of it, the job went quick and easy. It mentions using tylose thickened fondant, which I did use but honestly don’t think you need to add tylose to fondant.

Really neat effect and easy to use!
After watching the online video on how to use the silicone onlay, I was able to easily get the hang of the technique. I am an experienced/master level cake decorator and was using this for the first time to show a novice decorator how to make a cake and even she was able to use it easily. It's very versitile and I am just trying to come up with an excuse to use it again soon!

Didn’t work for me.
Did not work, I tried different techniques and still didn’t work. The fondan/gumpaste stuck really bad. Very disappointed.
