ROX ROX PIV RISER ST/DUAL SPORT

I installed this product on a 2011 Kawasaki Versys. The risers were used to both raise the handlebars and to bring them a little closer to the seat. On a stock Versys the riding position requires the rider to lean forward and place weight on the grips. This is closer to a cafe racer position than I find comfortable. With the stock windshield, which doesn't deflect the air blast above the riders head, this probably makes sense. Adding an 18" Givi windshield greatly reduces the wind force on the rider's upper body and head and therefore raising the handlebars and moving them a little closer to the rider allows a more upright riding position, which is easier on the back and arms. It is a little tricky to get the two units adjusted to exactly equal positions but a little tweaking brings them into balance. The re-positioning of the handlebars does affect the cables, particularly the throttle cable so make sure that there is sufficient cable length to allow up to two inches of rearward movement of the handlebars. The anti-vibration risers were installed on a new bike so I can't compare the handlebar vibration before and after but the vibration level on the Versys vertical twin seems pretty tame so hopefully the risers are doing the job.

I works well adding a little height to the bars on my 2008 Buell Ulysses; I'm 6'5" and it just wasn't too comfortable with the bars in the OEM position. However, it was fairly difficult to install with the socket head caps screws which now reside under this thing when it its installed on the bike. Fortunately, I put it into a position that was still comfortable to me but just barley provided me access to back to screws. If I was to pull it back a little I would have had to figure out a new approach to tighten this thing down.

The product is great. Top quality on the manufacturing. Made by riding position on my Buell Ulysses more comfortable. My only complaint is there doest seem to be a way to tighten all the bolts down because once there installed they cover two of the bolts. So you have to sort of tighten the bottom bolts rotate them up and then fully tighten the top bolts.

Do not order this part from this company it is false.You will order a corvette and get a Geo metro so to speak.Obviously the part pictured is a antivibration unit with rubber in the middle so this is why you want it and are willing to pay $20 extra correct. But they will send you the cheap solid unit and it even has the same part number on the package.If this is an honest mistake they need to put up the correct picture.I complained and the company called me and blamed the wrong picture on Amazon and said they keep puting the wrong pictures up for their parts and there is little they can do. How could that be dont they do theirown advertizing?the man that called said he would call me back shortly but he never called me back today. maybe he is trying to get to the bottom of why the part and picture do not match

This is a rox speed product, however picture does not depict product you receive. Pay attention to the price, if you think you're getting a good deal, you're not.

Works great. The only issue was trying to tighten down screws, but that is endemic to my particular bike.Worth the money. I would buy again.

Beautiful work of art.This is the top-of-the-line riser from Rox Speed and it does fit the CRF250L. The riser looks good and does exactly what it's design to do. Very high quality and tough.However, I'm not comfortable riding the bike with the bars 2" higher. For me, the bike feels unstable and unsafe so I went back to stock. Now this beautiful piece of art sits in my tool box.

Excellent quality risers. Put them on my 2006 Buell Ulysses and they fit the stock bars greatst. Installation was a pain in the butt by myself. An extra set of hands is crucial for ease of installation. They made riding much more comfortable since I'm 6'2".
