Great Soap Brush
I finally wore out my old brush so i ordered this one because I’ve been using the shave soaps for a year now and i really like them so i figured I’d give it a shot. Great brush. Works better than my old one.

Nice Shaving Brush
I like the brush and its quality. Other brushes I have purchased the bristles get very stiff after a couple of uses. This one so far has remained quite soft. I find it a pleasure to shave with and would recommend

its good for the price
brush is really good for the price for sure. I use this as my travel brush. it holds moisture well. i do however anticipate the handle falling apart like i do with other brushes that have plastic/alumnum caps and rings. it lathers well and the backbone so the brush is good considering its price. it holds up to some more expensive brushes, but i honestly think this is the best one you'll find around 10 bucks. Just make sure you thoroughly wash the brush before your first use (as you already should) they put a lot of black powder on the brush for marketing

A++ Badger Shave Brush
I have been wet shaving for several years and have tested many badger brushes over the last decade. I tend to look for a few things when using them. 1. The quality of the handle. 2. The quality of the bristles. 3. The quality in assembly. 1. Quality of the handle: This badger brush handle seems to be made of high quality materials. The paint is thick (in a good way) and consistent. It has a nice shape in the hand and is easy to grip, even if your hands are wet. Good stuff. 2. Quality of the bristles: The thing that I like about this badger brush is that the bristles are nicely shaped and have a good thickness to them. They are immediately soft out of the box (well, tube really) and don't smell nearly as bad as many other brushes I've used. **Disclaimer - if you've never used a badger brush before, they tend to smell like a weird funk. I like to wash them with warm water and peppermint soap in order to help curb that. It will eventually fade.** That being said, I think the smell went away after the first or second use, so great job there. 3. Quality of the assembly: This goes along with the other two parts of the equation, but this brush is assembled very well. It has a nice steel ring where the bristles meet the handle and in a month and a half, I've hardly had any bristles fall out. I would say that it is completely normal for bristles to fall out after use, since they are glued to the handle and over time the stress of use can cause them to break off. This brush seem very well suited for long term use and the bristles are well secured. Actual use: I've tested this with their shaving cream, as well as a bar of shaving soap. It functions as it should and creates a great lather quickly. Pro tip, when you are working on your second or third pass, be sure to squeeze the bristles from the base of the handle and pull through your hand. This will ensure you get the best shaving cream from the center of the brush. Overall, I'd give this one a 10 out of 10. I've enjoyed using the brush in combination with the stainless steel bowl and their sandalwood shaving cream.

Quality look and feel, reasonable price
This brush does a great job of creating lather in the mug, and massaging the whiskers and pores when lathering up. Is it ultra soft? No, but it has enough density to really stimulate the pores and help prepare the face, without feeling scratchy. Even though it comes with a nice cardboard packing tube, I would not select this brush for travel. It needs to be rinsed and air-dried between uses. Shaving then shoving into a travel kit would, I think, do a disservice to the natural bristles. Probably better to use a plastic handled, synthetic brush on the road; it'd be less likely to grow nasties when sitting in the case. Like your travel toothbrush, a synthetic brush could be sanitized in the dishwasher between trips. Save this lovely natural one for use at home.

Great brush, disappointing handle durability
Updated: I’ve owned this Viking Revolution badger brush for about five years. The brush itself has held up very well and still performs nicely, which is why I’m not giving this a one-star review. That said, the handle began peeling within the first month of use, and over time the coating continued to deteriorate. At this point, the base is flaking and falling apart despite normal bathroom use and care. This seems to be a finish/material issue rather than misuse. I just replaced it with a more expensive brush that has an all-wood handle, simply to avoid this problem. If Viking Revolution updated the handle material or finish, this would be an easy recommendation. As it stands, the brush quality is good, but the handle durability doesn’t match the longevity of the bristles.

No stink
I am using the brush for a month now and did not notice any stink from the brush. One thing that should be kept in mind is that you do not store it in the container that it comes with. Any brush for that matter will stink if you store it away wet. I have a stand that will ensure that the brush is open to air and allows it to dry. It is too early to comment on the bristles coming loose at this point. I have not noticed anything coming out other that a few bristles that were loose before use. According to me that is normal. The bristles are not too soft, which is how I prefer so that I can whip up a good lather. I feel if they are too soft then it serves more like a make-up brush. Overall, I think it is decent for the price and time will tell if it will last.

Not as good as their shaveing cream
This is not my first shaving brush. This is actually my third, but the first from Viking. It is better than the last brush I had which only lasted a few years and I don't remember the brand. But it's not better than the first brush I purchased - Col. Conk - which lasted me a decade or longer. It's stiffer and can be a little edgy on the face. Think I've had this brush maybe a year or more and the durability looks like it'll be there for another 5 yrs at least, but I'm going to spend the money and go back to the Col. Viking's shaving cream is great. The brush, acceptable if you haven't used a better one.

Preis Leistung ok
Guter Rasierpinsel. Macht was er soll. Ab und zu fällt mal das ein oder andere Haar aus, finde ich aber nicht weiter schlimm

Nice bristles 😉.
Bought this to replace my previous brush which was a different brand. It’s been really good. A little stiff at first but it spins softens up and has lasted well. I shave in the bath so the brush gets regularly left in the bath floating around and it’s still as good as when I bought it. The differences inf real bristle makes over synthetic is huge. Well worth the money.

Very bad This brush is terrible. The hair is extremely rough it feels like needles after the first use.

Decent Value for the Money
If I put the price in perspective, I should give it a higher rating. But the badger hair is super hard and it took very many times to get a bit softer.
