No Flaws
In spite of all the things written about natural diamonds, staying sharp by fracturing during use, exposing new sharp surfaces, that is hooey. The part they leave out is the part that fractured off isn't dull.DMT are manufactured flawless diamonds, more expensive that natural diamonds, and they do not dull nor fracture/wear away. For stropping it is a rather moot point because the diamonds are not bonded to anything. I like manmade diamonds in the application so my strop doesn't feel second place to the bench stones. (lol) This on a smooth leather strop keep my S45VN pocket knife nice and sharp. A couple back and forthes on the strop on the days I use the knife, has been just getting sharper since the last time I sharpened. I expect going to 6 months between sharpenings based on my early results. Actually sharpens a tad, not simply restoring the edge, is what it's doing for me so far, a couple months in. Followed instructions to the t, 2 or 3 sprays after shaking well on a 3x9 inch strop. Doc guarantees me 35 more years, I won't use half the bottle in that time.

The best diamond spray.
Very effective removing all the burr, the sharpness lasts much longer.

superb fine edge stropping spray for knives.
My hobby is (buying and) sharpening Japanese kitchens knives. I use the standard process of 1000 grit stone, then 4-5000, then finish on 8-12,000 grit. All on Japanese or Norton waterstones. To finish the knife edge to my (mildly OCD) perfectionist standard, I strop the knives. For this I use leather, MDF or very smooth pine boards. In all cases, I add diamond paste or spray to the strop. This abrasive is very important, as it removes the very fine burr, and polishes the edge.Of all the diamond products I have used - DMT diamond spray is one of the best. A few light sprays, allow to dry. Works wonders. Polished razor edges.I have seen complaints about the price !! Well - with a superior product, one pays the going price.

Seems fine but a little low on diamond concentration
Seems ok but can see the lower price equals less diamond concentration it appears as the spray has to go n heavier to notice anything when buffing. Will work just will go thru faster than expected.

Great product.
DMT makes great products.I have the mini stone sharpening kit and a decent strop. This compound gives that little cherry on top during stroping and gets the burrs cleared and leaving a great edge.

Works great but cap does not seal properly.
The bottle is poorly made and leaks at the cap seal. Much juice is wasted. If you purchase put in a better spray bottle.
