Great for light to medium duty carpenter work, versatile and light. Added big rear pocket.
The CLC C-12 waist apron has pockets that are 6 inches deep and will hold a 25' standard tape measure leaving extra pockets available for nails, screws and tools. Some may want to hook the tape onto the outside of the pocket as pictured, while others may like to throw it in a pocket also as pictured. I find it quicker and easier to throw it in an apron pocket than hooking it.In the tools close photo left to right are a hammer, rasp, screwdriver, utility knife unseen, nail set center, tape unseen, combination square, 2 chisels, etc..In the desktop photo the tape is lifted out to show a 25' tape can fit in pocket. In the clip-carry photo it shows the tape being clipped on center pocket to carry. Saves room for nails in pockets. In the desktop drillbits photo left to right are pliers, screwdriver above hammer, cold chisel, two wood chisels, 16' tape, 2 drill bits, nail set, empty pocket for nails, wood rasp, combo square. While there are not as many pockets in the C-12 as in the C-14, I think the pockets are just a wee bit deeper which I like, about 6 full inches instead of the 5&1/4 - 5&1/2 inches in the C-14. However the largest pocket on the C-14 is 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" and the C-12 is 6" high x 4-1/4" wide, not as wide as the C-14.I am considering sewing this apron onto a pair of Dickie's painter bibs or hickory stripe bibs since they obstinately refuse to make carpenter overalls. After washing it I cannot get my big monster Craftsman 25' tape in it, but I didn't plan on carrying it anyway. It's for the workbench.I cut a rear pocket from 12 ounce canvas and hemmed it. Cut a little shorter at top than C-12 apron so it would blouse open. Then I sewed it onto the back of the C-12 and now I have a great big pocket behind the other pockets of the C-12. Thinking of sewing it closed in the middle to create two large pockets. People are saying they wish someone made a nail apron you can stick your hands into and this one enables that. You can see the photo of it bloused open ready for meter to go in and next pic the meter is lying in top of it and it will go completely down into the big pocket. Other photo is rear where I sewed it to C-12 apron. Suggested it to CLC, and as usual they haven't responded yet.

Great for the job I need to do
I change light bulbs as they burn out around our condo complex and have juggled the bulbs and screws along with a pair of pliers I occasionally need. I used to carry the items in my hands and struggled with not enough hands to hold the bits. This little apron does the trick. It can hold a couple of bulbs and has a pocket for my pliers and a pocket to drop the loose screws and nuts into. It has an ample length of tie string and seems very sturdy. Definitely worth the few bucks!

Stitches in middle pocket are stupid
I like that the apron has 5 pockets. Two are pleated so they open wider and you can grab nails or screws out of them. Three are a little tighter so tools don’t fall out while you’re moving around. The pocket sizes alternate from tight to pleated across the apron, if that makes sense. You’re not really going to get big tools in the pockets though. A screw drive, a pair of pliers, a utility knife and other tools of similar size will fit in the tighter pockets. I find that longer tools in the wider pockets fall out while moving around. The rivets were rusted on one of the two that I ordered. It works fine though. I ended up removing the label and stitches that go across the middle pocket because it cut the pocket size in half and pretty much made the middle pocket useless. After cutting out the stitches, the center pocket was definitely more usable. Works great for what I do.

Daddy doody kit
Used this to make a funny babyshower gift, it was a hit! It was the perfect size and good for the price. Highly recommend. Material is nice, not too thick nor thin.

It works
My only complaint is the pockets could be longer.

Use it like Pockets.
Am not organized and am easily distracted. So when I go between the den/kitchen and office 40-50 times a day or, worse, am on the move around our 2-story house, I put things I need NOW wherever I happened to be the last time I used them (e.g.,most important: my PHONE, lists, pen, things to put away elsewhere, measuring tape, paper clips, rags, even a hammer!)Now I don't waste time & energy looking for them. Even tho this apron isn't exactly 'stylish', it's great for hot weather and no-one is looking anyway, so it works for distracted me. Well-made.

Used on my walker!
I just had surgery and needed to use a walker for a while. Every time I needed something it was never nearby. I got this, tied it to my walker and put my necessities in the pockets, especially pain meds and a bottle of water! Perfect!

Has good features but...
I needed a light apron to hold drywall screws while working on our new house. If your hands are bigger than the hands of a teenage girl this product will not work for you. Lots of pockets but all of them are too small for a guy to reach in and grab some screws/nails/whatever that you have stored in the pocket to keep them handy. Product seems to be made well enough. Just not suitable for my purpose.
