Great eraser at a great price
I am disabled and found this eraser so very easy to use. It erases quickly eliminating the strain on my hands. No batteries so it is light weight, also. Great color selection and all those QUALITY erasers! No smudging. Charges quickly. Well made. Great price. I ordered one for my disabled friend she loved mine so much.

The Thing I Didn't Realize I Needed All This Time
I've filled several sketch books in my life and not once have I had an electric eraser. I didn't even know that was a thing! And I'm wondering why I've never been made privy to this absolute GEM of a tool before by my fellow art friends!!! All my life, I've oh so carefully erased..... and I've always had to redo parts where I didn't have an eraser "tiny enough" to get delicate small areas of my sketches. NO MORE! Not only does this get those Itty bitty detailed areas, it leaves behind NO TRACE of the offending lines that were the bane of my existence! (At least... as long as you drew it lightly). Wasnt expecting it, but this eraser comes fully charged. Also comes with a TON of eraser tips both tiny and still kinda small (which I'm sure I will blow thru because they seem to break apart fast but for how many there are initially, the understanding behind their intended purpose- its an eraser it's going to wear down fast, and for how well this works I'm OK with that!!) I love that there is a cap. I have not had any issues with the motor "bogging down" as other reviewers have stated (are those experiencing this like... jamming it down hard into the sketch pad? Cuz you *shouldnt* be. It doesn't take much to erase and actually takes a gentler touch than a regular gum or plastic eraser!) And so far I've gotten 3- 5 or 6 hour sessions with this eraser with it needing no charge yet or even slowing (granted I do not solely use only this eraser during sketching sessions but I *do* use it a whole heck of a lot during that time!) I have not had a problem with this and I absolutely love everything about this real magic eraser, but I do foresee how it could be one if I were to casually put this eraser in a box or drawer a bit carelessly, but: the button to work the eraser is very VERY sensitive! It works perfectly for my home need but I probably would not take this out of my house if I sketched on the go, because it would activate and wear out packed in a bag or box. I love the sensitivity for the use, but a cap that also covers that sensitive button so it couldnt be pressed on the go or while set in an art box, bag, or drawer would make this absolute perfection.

What A Efficient E-Raser!
I've never heard of an electric eraser until I was in a college class and my teacher told us about it. I thought it sounded ridiculous like, "What the hell is this going to do for me?" I took the plunge and bought this just to see what it does and to my pleasant surprise, it is very, VERY helpful when doing some fine tip erasing. I was even able to do some highlighting effects using this thing. Despite it's bulky appearance, it does feel comfortable in my hands and easy to maneuver around on paper. It comes with a USB charging cord and it doesn't take long before it's fully charge. It can actually keep a charge for a while before needing one. I definitely would recommend this to any pencil and charcoal artist who needs a fine tip eraser that is easy on the paper and does an amazing job erasing even the heaviest 6B pencil stroke like you're erasing a H lead. Trust me... you'll love this thing.

Good purchase
Received in good order, however, I do believe it to be a returned item, as it didn’t appear to be out of the box “fresh”, though that being said, it does work fine and has a lot of power to do quality erasing. I am erasing sketches on canvas to keep it as clean as possible before I start laying down paint. I’ve had it for a week now, and haven’t had to recharge it. Very good quality.

Easy to use
This is a fantastic electric eraser! It comes with enough small and large refills to last you a long time. The eraser nibs each go quite far, and i haven't had to replace the first one I've been using for almost two weeks. It takes a short time to recharge the battery, and in the last almost two week period, I just charged it for the first time 2 days ago. Very happy with this purchase!

Pretty unbelievable for the money
I'm a retired professional illustrator and professor who used to work traditionally before going digital. I'm getting back into traditional work, and my old Koh-I-Noor handheld no longer holds a charge (I've got replacement batteries on order and plan to fix it). In the meantime, I bought this device, and it's inexpensive enough to serve as a standby until I get my full-size Koh-I-Noor up and running again. SO when this arrived, I was immediately shocked at the size and weight of the box (meaning it's small and light). This is an *extremely* light device, most likely because the battery and motor inside are probably small. When I opened the box, I was again shocked at how small it is – about 2/3 the length of the Koh-I-Noor, and not nearly as wide. It arrived uncharged, so I charged it up and gave it a go. It is light, quiet, and does a good job. The erasers are much smaller in length and diameter than my old one, but they work great. I'm initially finding the smaller size to be a negative, but I'll probably adjust with use. Quite a few reviewers mention that the button is too sensitive and turns on too easily. Well, so is the professional-grade Koh-I-Noor's button – this is on purpose so that you don't have to strain and you can focus on your work. As a professional, I see it as a feature, not a fault. I don't think I'll ever have a use for the micro-sized smaller erasers, and can't even imagine them not flexing too much and/or breaking often – they're about the thickness of a color pencil lead. The larger size seems much more useful, but is still considerably smaller than the standard size you'll find in most click-style erasers. One important way of using electric erasers like this is to cut the end squarely so you have a sharp edge for maximum control. I used to do that by holding an x-acto knife against the spinning eraser and it would cut through leaving a perfectly clean, square edge in a second or two. This one doesn't have the power – the x-acto knife stalls the motor. Ah well – you can cut it by eye, but it may not come out as perfect. I did this and it worked just fine. So it seems to work fine to me. I have a couple of cordless pencil sharpeners from AFMAT which work great, get a lot of use, and have held up well for a couple of years, so I imagine this little guy will last awhile. If it breaks or fails at some point I'll update this review. $16... amazing. I think I paid about $70 for the Koh-I-Noor back in the early '90s – just checked and that's a bit over $175 in today's dollars, or about 12 of these mini-me devices. It's not a pro device by any means, but if it does a decent job when needed I'll be happy.

Essential Tool for Art Students and Precision Work ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The AFMAT electric eraser impressed me right away with its control, power, and precision. I used it throughout my university art class and it genuinely made a difference in the quality of my work. It handles charcoal, graphite, and colored pencil cleanly and lifts pigment without smudging or tearing the paper. The motor is smooth, the grip feels comfortable during longer sessions, and the included replacement erasers last a long time. What stood out most was how well it erased charcoal highlights, something that can be tough to refine with traditional erasers. It allowed me to add fine details, clean up edges, and bring depth into my drawings. This is a tool I now consider essential for sketching and detailed work. It performs far better than cheaper alternatives and feels reliable and well-built. For anyone studying art, practicing drawing, or working professionally, this electric eraser is a great investment.
