The size is accurate, so I would say just buy your usual size. But it's also really stretchy which makes it super comfy. I got the darker blue, really pleased with it. I bought the black colour. It doesn't quite look the same as the photo. The phot shows it to be a slightly washed looking black denim when the skirt I received wasn't washed/faded at all, just deep black. Still very pleased. I bought it to shorten into a mini skirt as I struggle to find mini skirts the right length. I purchased size 14 which was about 21" from waistband to hem, and I shortened to to 15". Really nice stretchy soft fabric, despite not quite looking like the picture.
