It's easy to dress up or down, and it's lightweight without being see-through (at least in black).It runs a little big, but that didn't bother me because I like things a little loose.I only have two minor complaints: the neckline is slightly different than pictured--the reality is more of a tee shirt V neckline, so it's narrower than the picture--and the skirt is VERY long. I'm 5'7", and the hem drags a little in the back. I fix this by knotting one side of it, but you could also easily fix it by wearing wedges or being a little bit taller. Petite ladies may have to employ serious heels or get it hemmed.I've only run it through the wash a couple of times, and I lay it out to dry, so we will see if it lasts the test of time.
