No sign of insects so far.
Our local garden shop recommends this product, but they were out of it; so Amazon to the rescue! I was particularly interested in the systemic insecticide feature. We've only used it once, but so far so good. No sign of aphids on the mandevilla, and the gardenia seems to be recovering nicely.

Danger to bees
This product contains imidacloprid which is very likely responsible for the decimation of bee populations and other pollinators. But it did work as advertised and killed off the lace bugs. I would use it very sparingly.
