Since I am unwilling to pay $500 for one I thought I'd give this one a try especially since it was carbon fiber. I was immediately unimpressed. The adjustment knobs are made of low-grade cheap plastic that I'm 100% certainly will degrade and fall/break off in no time. The movement is not fluid horizontally or vertically too much friction without even tightening the knobs down. After 5 minutes of use, I put it back in the box to return.After returning it, I order the Movo GH600 from another seller, but received the GH800 instead (both are carbon fiber), the GH800 which is designed similar to this one is very fluid horizontally; vertically it is acceptable. The seller is sending me the GH600, so I'm waiting to test and do a side-by-side comparison. The GH600 is a portrait mount design, but if you are mounting your lens on an adjustable lens collar/mount, you can rotate your camera into the landscape position without any issues. The GH600 will have one less bracket, thus lowering the overall weight. If you are looking for a decent carbon fiber gimbal below $300, the GH800 is definitely a good choice. I highly recommend it. As soon as I get the GH600, I'll post reviews on that product page., but so far I think I have found a gimbal that I would consider keeping. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Poor mechanical design uses no ball or thrust bearings. *by V***V on Reviewed in the United States on July 10, 2019* This very close ( if not exactly the same as ) to Neewer Professional Heavy Duty Carbon Fiber 360 Degree Panoramic Gimbal Tripod Head and definitely has the same problems ( see 3 and 2 star reviews for that one). The design is also very similar to Neewer Professional Heavy Duty Metal 360 Degree Panoramic Gimbal Tripod Head. The later head was around for a while and there are YouTube videos describing issues with it and DIY fixes for some of those issues. Search for "Neewer Gimbal Review" on YouTube for details.When rotating in horizontal plane clock-wise the bottom screw starts to tighten, which makes horisontal tracking of subjects hard.Basically you get the same poor design as the aluminum version that costs around 90$, but pay extra 55$ for carbon fiber part. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks great & works well. *by I***C on Reviewed in the United States on April 29, 2019* I ordered this Gimbal a real estate project for my boss.After using this Panoramic Gimbal I can say following,1- Built QualityIt is very strong and sturdily built quality with nice to touch material.
