This hopper bird house is easy to hang, easy to clean, holds quite a bit of birdseed, but it is also pretty easy for starlings and squirrels to eat out of the feeder. These feeders empty fast when the birds discover them so have extra food handy. I have three of these feeders two are red with a black top and then this one. Best of luck, they are durable and solid feeders and should serve your feathered and squirlly friends well.

Of all the bird feeders I’ve had this one is the best. It is very sturdy, attractive, the birds love it & I do too. Must admit it’s not completely squirrel proof, my squirrels have learned to hang on the chain & eat upside down, but only one squirrel can do that. And they can’t knock it down. It’s great!!!!!

I like this feeder however the clear plastic had some chips in the top. It still works and you can't tell but would not feel comfortable giving it a 5 star.

The feeder holds a lot of seed and seems to be very sturdy.To update: After using the feeder for several months, the above remains true; however, the birds don't seem to like it. They light on it but don't stay to eat. Also, after a few days of rain, the seeds were clumped and some on the inside had actually started to sprout. Lots of crevices for seeds to get trapped.

Beautiful feeder but not functional unless only using millet. Small sunflowers seeds get caught. Water does not drain out of reservoir and has become the earwig outhouse. So sad! What a waste of money.

This is avery sturdy and easy to fill feeder. I do not have a Squirrel problem because it is mounted on a 4X4 vinyl sleeved post that I spray with WD-40. They try to climb the pole but slide off no matter how hard they try. I added a second one, a year after I bought the first one..

I loved this birdfeeder so much I bought a second one. It rains a lot where I'm at so my old feeder would get water stuck in it and the seeds would clump up and get moldy. This feeder has a large ledge for the birds to perch on and has vents/slits on the bottom so water doesnt get trapped in the feeder. The birds love it too. They are eatting me out of house and home!

I feed birds all year round and sadly, with elements exposure, my bird feeders break after a few years. To replace one of those, i bought this one. Really love the design, it's pretty big and easy to open. Plastic is more durable in my climate; metal bird feeders usually rust and rot and need to be replaced faster.Pretty happy with my purchase

This feeder is easy to fill and made of sturdy plastic. The birds have room to perch on the edge and you can see the quantity of feed inside.

Update.. received a replacement today and this feeder is in worse shape than the one I got first . Again, missing parts , and this time the wall panel corner is cracked off.First review…Unfortunately I can’t give a proper review of this item because it was delivered missing the acrylic wall panel, making it impossible to fill it with seed. Leaving me the annoying steps of doing a return/refund. Time wasted, too bad, looked decent..

Love this feeder and my birds love it too. Took them a couple of days to overcome fear and let hunger rule. I like that it holds a good amount of seed and can accommodate a few birds at a time to feed. With it being on the super large size, when the squirrels and chipmunks catapult onto it, at least most of the seed still stays in the feeder compared to the smaller feeders!

Pour le prix, c'est une belle mangeoire et facile d'accès pour mes cardinaux. Les cardinaux aiment une mangeoire stable pour se poser.
